The tranquility of the lakes in the forests of Vittsjö

(From November 1, 2025, we will change one bedroom to a lounge and only take two guests.) Lovely cottage from the 50s with nice vintage furniture inspired by the same decade. Is the last cottage on the way out on a headland in Vittsjö's lake area, so here you have the peace and quiet, but are still only a walk from shops and trains. The forest is close by and there are lovely hiking areas. Good fishing just meters from the front door. Here you wake up with a view of a beautiful lake! Enjoy the starry sky and the owls' hooting in the evening.

With only 300 meters to the swimming area in Edenryd you will find a newly built spacious accommodation. An apartment of 50m2 with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Hike along the coastal hiking trail and enjoy the sea. Why not bring fishing rod for fishing, or the binoculars to see, among other things, sea eagles and migratory birds passing through. Start the day by following the bike path down to Möstadparken for a morning swim in wonderful Ivösjön. Here you will also find a play area for the children. For those who want to swim from the jetty, a visit to Korsholmens swimming area is an alternative. (700m) There you will also find a restaurant. This typical Swedish cottage in the idyllic woods of Småland hosts up to 4 people. The forrestplot of 2400m2 contains lots of blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms for you to pick if you come in late summer or fall. There are 3 holiday houses nearby but you cant really see the neighbours if you don´t want to ;) The nearest lake for swimming is 5 min with car (Badplats Vägla) and another 20 min for a bigger lake sand beach (Vesljungasjöns badplats) We welcome everyone, also dogs offcourse

The house is located right next to the forest. People who come here for the first time often say that the surroundings remind them of the tales of Astrid Lindgren. Just 2 km away you have access to a lake with sauna (shared with others) that you can use for free. On agreement you can charge your electric vehicle at our place (200 meters away) with type 2 , 11kW for 3sek/kW. Towels/linens are NOT included, but can be provided for 150 SEK/person. Cleaning can be added for 1500sek.

Welcome to "The Wild Meadow". A place to rest and recharge and disconnect from the outside world and connect with the magical nature that surrounds us. This studio is bright and airy with newly renovated kitchen. There is a sauna on the property and the beautiful lake is a beautiful walk/hike through nature or a short drive away. This space is perfect if you want to host your own yoga class or similar and I have 16 lambswool yoga mats and bolsters from Yogiraj that is included.
