Overall, great location, which felt safe, nice apartment, everything I needed, Chinda was prompt with responses to my queries. One issue: it wasn't clear that the apartment was at the top of a staircase. This would be good to know. The stair case is open to the air, but covered. It was raining when I was there and this could have caused a slipperiness problem (but didn't, for me). Just a general note, especially for people with mobility issues.

Chris was one of the most gracious and accommodating Airbnb hosts I’ve ever encountered. He generously offered an early check-in and late check-out at no extra cost, making my stay even more seamless. The property is ideally located in the heart of Newtown—a studio, yet surprisingly spacious and thoughtfully designed. Every amenity one could possibly need is provided, with carefully curated gadgets and essentials placed for utmost convenience. A comprehensive instruction manual, complete with detailed information and maps, ensures a hassle-free experience. The added perk of free underground parking was a fantastic bonus. I wholeheartedly recommend Chris’s place for an exceptional stay.

Nice property and friendly host. The couch bed was a little uncomfortable but that’s expected from couch beds. Was glad to have a laundry machine and hangers to wash and dry our clothes.

We had a lovely stay at Dyvia’s place. The location is prime. A couple of steps to Ashfield Station. Very close to shops and restaurants. The place was impeccable. Perfect for 2 people, spacious with lots of natural light. The inside laundry and 2 bathrooms are super convenient. Dyvia was extremely kind, caring and responsive. We stayed there for 3 months and she was always very accommodating to our needs. I strongly recommend this place!

I booked Cynthia and Jason's place for my parents, and it was perfect! The apartment is so beautiful and comfortable, and it is impeccably clean. The view from the balcony is also lovely. Cynthia and Jason were very responsive to messages, and even offered my parents an early check-in when they noticed that their flight was going to arrive quite early in the day. My parents loved staying here, and I will definitely book them and all future guests into Cynthia and Jason's apartment.

Simply amazing, looks even better than the photos. Spacious and light-filled as described. I stayed for a month. Luis was very welcoming that he allowed early check-in at 10am and showed me around the apartment. Luis and Mark were very responsive and catered our needs to perfection. Almost everything we needed were provided in the apartment, with the extras purchasable within walking distance. Comfy bed & linens, high quality body wash and lotion, adequate towels and toilet paper, and much more. Newtown is a cute and peaceful neighbourhood. Train station is 5 mins walk away from the Airbnb. You may hear trains running at night but the noise is tolerable and had never affected our sleep. A cockroach was spotted in the apartment during the stay (likely just a coincidence as the apartment is very clean in general), Luis promptly responded and brought us cockroach baits. Our trip to Sydney would not be as great without this apartment. Looking forward to stay here again when we revisit

The place was great, very well decorated, clean, had everything we needed. It’s a place that makes you feel at home. It’s very safe, a beautiful patio with plants, and even a little pond with some fishes in the entrance. The kitchen had everything one needs. Justin is a greast host , super kind and super helpful. We soent a whole week there , got so used to the place I didn’t want to live the place, lol. I would recommend the place to everyone.

Great place to stay while in Sydney for work (or leisure). Location in Newtown is fantastic with easy access to top quality bars and restaurants and easy access to the city. Apartment is well fitted out and spacious and big balcony is plus.

Great for those who prefer the feel of a more “lived in space”. A good combination of being in one of quietest areas of the Inner West, but still only minutes from buses, trains and light rail to take you anywhere. The apartment itself is great, lovely view with great sunlight though still very private. Liz was very responsive and communicated everything clearly. Would stay here again.

Frank’s place is a very well designed studio apartment. There’s good storage for a short or long stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The sofa is comfortable as is the bed. There’s a washer/dryer, iron and soap powder etc which means not having to schlepp to a supermarket. Frank was very helpful explaining how to check in. There’s buses at the doorstep and two stations within easy walking distance. You can’t hear the traffic from busy King St but the area is on the airport flight path. I’m a very light sleeper and wasn’t fussed by this at all. Noting a curfew is in place between 11pm and 6am. There’s also a small balcony and seating out there. Highly recommended.

We have a pleasant stay at Zoe's place. Convenient location, house is clean, snacks was provided and the kids enjoyed it. Zoe also proactive in reaching out to offer us an early check in. Appreciate that extra blankets and heater was provided during winter. Will come back to stay again if we are in Sydney. Thanks for being such a great host, Zoe.

An absolutely ideal base for our Sydney weekend. Super helpful host and a great apartment for us. Met all our needs for a Newtown location that was walkable to the Enmore Theatre.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property, which no photo does justice to just how stunning the view of the water is from not one but two decks. A two minute walk to wonderful shopping outlets, cafe’s, dog parks, gyms, salons, everything you need. The host is highly responsive, fair and accommodating. The quiet leafy neighbourhood filled with frangipani’s next to the water is beautiful, with a private area to have a sunny cool spa outdoors or a warm spa of an evening. The bbq placed right where you can see the water is a lovely touch for cooking outdoors with a view. I had everything I needed the moment I arrived which makes life so much easier. I can’t thank the host enough for my stay. This place is truly a gem. Thank you so much!

This was our third stay and we've already booked again for next month when we're back in Sydney for work. The apartment works beautifully for us. It's clean, comfortable and quiet and a short walk to the supermarket and some cafes and shops. The designated parking is so helpful and easy to use. When we arrived earlier than expected, Wesley was very accommodating and let us in early, which was great. Very satisfied.

Superb apartment in a very convenient location - close to shops and transport links. Easy to get into Sidney centre. Balmain is a delightful suburb full of interesting shops and facilities. Yes there are steps but so worth the views across the city. Thoroughly recommend and would happily return.

Wow! Great location, walk to so many fabulous spots such as Lyric Theatre, Darling Harbour and transport. The Apartment was so comfortable and relaxing. We used the pool, spa and gym! The hosts were so lovely to deal with. Friendly interaction from the time of booking and although we didn’t need to make contact during our stay …. as everything was easy with very clear instruction, we did feel we could contact them at any time if we needed to. Thanks for your hospitality we will return.

This one bedroom apartment was well looked after and had everything we needed. While we only stayed one night, we could have easily spent a few days in the apartment comfortably. It was quite noisy in the morning, though it is to be expected near the airport. The host was very flexible and responsive. Thank you!

Well located apartment with sunny balcony and spacious kitchen.

This is a wonderful apartment!! It is spacious and comfortable plus in a terrific neighbourhood. Walkable to large grocery store Woolworths and a variety of other stores on nearby Darling St. Even better was the access to a wonderful recreation centre with a gym, sauna and 25 metre pool. We, in fact, were familiar with this area and rec centre, and Jackie's apartment was a real find in this very hilly neighbourhood. It has less stairs and steps than average, so great for us. There are two sparkling bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, huge living room, and a lovely outdoor terrace (partly covered) with two small outdoor sofas and a drying rack. The laundry room has both a washer and a dryer (not always found in Australia). Jackie was always friendly, helpful and quickly responsive. The perfect host. In fact, we are worried that this excellent review might mean that we may not be able to return when we would like! Highly recommended.
