Welcome to our newly built guest house "Ladan." A home in a quiet, rural setting just east of Uppsala. With us, you live 13 km from Uppsala C and 7 km from the E4, which takes you further towards Arlanda or Stockholm. 1000 meters from the accommodation, a bus goes directly to Uppsala C and during some summer days, you can take a steam train to the city with the museum railway Lennakatten. The guest house is located on the outskirts of Gunsta community, close to nature. In the area, there is the nice Stiernhielms Krog & Livs, where you can eat well or shop a little.

Nice cottage by Lake Mälaren

Nice house with large living room and kitchen with open fire, bathroom and 4 bedrooms. Perfect both in summer and winter. There are extra mattresses as well as a guest house and sauna building with extra shower and toilet. Fiber is available, which makes it also suitable for working from here. Close to nature plot with lawn for summer activities. Approximately 150m to the jetty with boat (3.5hp) for fishing and swimming and kayak for 2p. Small cozy guest house on a leafy plot. 400 meters from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim at a jetty or small beach in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Close to a beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cottage has a room and bathroom. It has a small, but fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a folding guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom, there is a washing machine, shower and toilet. Sheets and towels included.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Living room with a large sofa, fireplace, kitchen island with 5 chairs and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker. Bathroom with shower, washing machine and a sauna. A few meters to the lake with for swimming. 15 minutes to Arlanda Airport and 35 minutes to Stockholm City. Sigtuna is the oldest town in Sweden with lots of charming restaurants, cafés and shops.

Distance: Sigtuna (4 km by foot/cycle path, 8 km by car). 17 km from Arlanda airport, 40 km to Stockholm city. 3 km to public transport (bus). The cottage is located close to the main building and has its own balcony with lake views. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake with a swimming area, about 100 meters away. On the property, there is a dog and during summertime there are sheep.

Herbre in natural farm environment

The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.

Cosy cottage, 150m to private jetty. Option to hire the floating sauna with roof terrace and lounge area for an additional fee. Short trips on the lake can also be arranged (weather dependent). Activities available by request: fishing, paddle board, water skiing, kayaking, sailing. The cottage is set in Rävsta nature reserve, 4km from historic town of Sigtuna, easily reached by bicycle or short walk. The airport is conveniently only 20 mins and Stockholm City, 40 mins.

Lea's basement - Cozy cottage in the countryside with fireplace

In the small village of Delbo, 1 mile north of Sala in Västmanland, is this little gem. Leas basement is a small house of about 25 m2 with all year around standard. Works as a self-catering for a long time but even if you just want to stay the night. Leas basement is tastefully decorated with high ceilings, fireplace, kitchen part, toilet and shower. There is a queen size bed (160cm) and a daybed for two. There's also Wifi and monitor with Chromecast.
