Stayed for two nights to hike Katahdin with my mom to finish her thru-hike and this did the trick as a home base. Place matched the description and had everything we needed. Primary bedroom mattress sagged some in the middle - probably fine for one person, but it was noticeable with two people in bed.

The place was cute and welcoming! Just what we were looking for as a base camp for our annual fall ATV trip! Corey and his wife were welcoming and treated us like family from the beginning! Would recommend this place to anyone!

This stay is worth every penny. Inside and out it is beautiful. At night there are so many stars and fireflies in the yard. There is a beautiful porch to enjoy on sunny days, even on rainy days the sounds of rain on the windows and roof are spectacular. I proposed to my fiancé on this trip in Baxter State Park and Nancy’s place was so great and cozy to come back to and make some pizzas and celebrate. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Wanted to be here for the whole week if I could have.

We returned to this property to celebrate the beginning of summer. We love the quiet and the privacy. Guests enjoy easy access to their own small dock (steps down from house) with kayaks and paddle board. For travelers like us who like to stay in, the cozy and well-equipped kitchen is ideal.
