We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return to Beth’s cabin. It’s hard to believe such an incredible lake experience is just about an hour from the Twin Cities. The cabin, while cozy and charming, had everything we needed. The backyard setup offered a stunning view of the lake and made for the perfect evening meals and hot tubbing. Just a small note for future guests: if privacy is a top priority, it’s good to know that one bedroom has a curtain and the other has a sliding barn-style door. It didn’t affect our stay, but something to keep in mind depending on your group.

My family was in town for my brother’s wedding and we needed something a little bigger to accommodate everyone. The house was perfect for everyone’s sleeping arrangements and to hangout before all the festivities. The view of the lake was amazing and the sunrise views were top notch. The host was friendly and answered all the questions we had, even giving recommendations on things to during our stay. Location was perfect as it was a 15 minute drive to the wedding and only a 45 minute drive to a Twins game. Looking forward to staying here again!

It was a perfect self-care getaway for one. Every room was cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The bed is large and comfy, the kitchen is great for cooking in, and the clawfoot bathtub is perfect for a deep, relaxing soak. Bath salts, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were included! If baths aren’t your thing, the detachable handheld showerhead is easy to rinse off with. I’m 5’0”, so I had no issues with the lower ceilings in the bathroom, but taller guests may need to be more mindful when moving around. The stairs between floors are fairly steep and could be tricky for some—especially small children or pets, since the hardwood steps are a bit slick. These are just minor details to keep in mind. There’s a walking path directly behind the house, and lots to explore nearby. I felt very safe, and though we didn’t interact much, the neighbors seemed friendly. I highly recommend Getaway Motor Café, conveniently just a short walk from the house. ✨The Orange Blossom Latte was a 10/10!

Looking to stay long-term or for a few nights? Your search ends here. I travel for work, and needed a place long-term. The listing and location drew me in. Upon first arriving, I knew this was going to be a great stay. Beautiful area with lots to do and see within walking distance, and more within a short drive. I loved the building and all it's historical quirkiness. The kitchen was everything I needed with upgraded appliances and a butler's pantry with some dry/canned goods that were available to use. The new mattress and crisp, clean bedding had me sleeping better than at home, actually. (Considering an upgrade to my own sleeping situation!) The new futon in the living room was very comfortable, and my guest said it provided a comfortable sleep. I very much enjoyed my stay here, and you will too! One note: you must be able to climb up and down stairs as the apartment is one flight up. This was no problem for me, but may be a deal-breaker for others. Book now! You won't regret it!

5 Stars – Peaceful, Perfect, and Exceptionally Hosted We booked Maria’s cabin last minute due to unexpected home construction, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us—including helping extend our stay without hesitation. The cabin is peaceful, clean, and perfectly located. We spent our days relaxing on the deck overlooking the lake, enjoying quiet mornings and stunning sunsets. Maria even let us use their pontoon, which made for incredible days of fishing and swimming. We caught big sunfish nearly every cast right from the dock and had an amazing fish fry! Maria’s flexibility, kindness, and thoughtful hospitality made a stressful time feel like a mini-vacation. Highly recommend this spot for anyone needing a break from the chaos of everyday life.

All of the benefits and joys of camping… with none of the hassle of setting up a tent or stiffness from sleeping on the ground 😉 The bunkie was very comfortable and thoughtfully set-up. Trisha and Will were gracious and considerate hosts. The property was gorgeous and peaceful; with great walking trails and access to a lovely swimming hole/sauna. My husband and I had a great restorative unplugged weekend here. Definitely recommend!

Leisa was a fantastic host! The cabin was extremely clean, and included everything you need to feel right at home. The location was fantastic - peaceful and private.
