Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Hawks Nest

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot at Broke over the long weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and felt extremely spacious for the 5 of us, plus our family dog. Located in Broke, the property feels private and secluded, yet only a short drive away from some amazing wineries. Steve and Jen were also very responsive hosts, answering all our questions promptly and providing clear instructions for check in/ out. We would highly recommend Barefoot at Broke for a small group getaway - we had an amazing time!

Great place. We are very familiar with the area and Rohan place was great, intimate and had everything that you need. We were camping for couple of days and got lots of rain so decided last minute to book this home and only book few hours before arriving and everything was ready very quickly. Had a great time.

Our stay at the Redhead Beach House was fantastic. The house itself was well designed, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We were welcomed with a platter and wine waiting for us and everything was well stocked and easy to find. Great selection of board games, table tennis and arcade game meant there was plenty to do when we were at the house. The area was beautiful and quiet. A great beach over the road - both our 11 year old daughter and our dog loved it! Overall, I would highly recommend. Thank you Natalie and Collin for your hospitality.

Our family of eight adults enjoyed our weekend in Pokolbin. We enjoyed the view to the mountains from the balcony and the large yard with three rustic chipping greens to practice our golf. The house was spacious and the ducted air-conditioning provided warmth during some cold winter weather. The BBQ are was also excellent. The property is walking distance to a few cellar doors and a nearby restaurant provided a free shuttle service for convenience. Melissa was a wonderful host and made every effort to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

Jay and Rod’s home was beautiful! We had a wedding to attend at the Little Beach Boathouse, and this place was the perfect location as we could easily walk down to the venue. Would definitely recommend!

Fabulous chilled out beach side weekend with adult children and 2 x dogs. Hosts have a perfect house to relax, surf or take in beach scenery walks. House well appointed with fur family perfectly considered. Paul and De are great hosts. Thank you

The house was amazing and the area was beautiful. The perfect escape from the city. Lucinda was extremely helpful and answered all the questions we had. Would recommend to any groups wanting to explore the area.

My partner and our two dogs had the most amazing long weekend staying here. The views from the property were incredible and the inside of the chapel is just as beautiful! Every detail was thought out and we had all the utensils and amenities for cooking we could need. We all had an amazing time and the hot tub was a great addition to an already beautiful place. Shaun was very responsive, and friendly too.

Great location by the lake and a beautiful guesthouse with luxurious touches. Matt is a very good host. Highly recommended.

The group and I really enjoyed the stay, the host was very responsive and flexible with our needs and requests. We felt warm and welcome when we checked in, they even gave us a bottle of wine! We also enjoyed the game room and the kitchen facility. Highly recommended staying at this property next time you go to Hunter.

We had such a lovely stay – the place was warm and cosy, perfect for a relaxing family retreat. It’s in a quiet bush setting but still super convenient, just a 10-minute drive to Merewether Beach and Hickson Street Lookout. We loved taking our dogs for walks along Merewether Beach and even found a great dog-friendly café nearby – the perfect spot for an early brekkie and sunrise. The lookout was stunning at sunset, though dogs aren’t allowed there, so we left ours in the car for a short while. The cottage has a big wooden table out on the deck, and we really enjoyed having lunch there, listening to the frogs singing while the dogs explored the garden. Such great value for a pet-friendly getaway. Thanks so much, Stewart!

Jo and her family are lovely and welcoming. We had a great stay. It was exactly what we needed. Quiet. Peaceful. Surrounded by nature and animals. Beds were very comfortable. Jo made fresh sourdough, provided eggs and vegetables. It was a lovely unexpected touch to supporting our time there. Lovely wineries and cafe's within a 15 minute drive. Highly recommend staying here.

It is an absolute fantastic place. Very peaceful with great views. Feels like heaven on earth. The inside of the house is very clean, spacious and has everything that you would need. Bev is a very nice and friendly host and it was an absolute delight talking to her. My husband and I and also our two dogs loved it so much that we will definitely come back here whenever we can. It was one of the best places that we have been to. From the check in until it was time to leave everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! Beautiful, modern interior, walking distance to Shoal Bay for restaurants, pub, bike hire or to watch the dolphins at sunset. Or for the more intrepid, lots of hiking options right out the back door. The house was so well-equipped we also spent some days enjoying the pool, pizza oven and outdoor entertaining area. Highly recommended!

Had the most beautiful stay at Eamonn's on the river. The place is so sweet & exactly as described and pictured... such a serene escape with beautiful scenery, great amenities & hosts to match. We enjoyed sitting by the lake and outdoor fire place every evening which was stocked with wood and fire lighters to get us on our way. It was my hubby's bday while away & Eamonn went to the extremely kind trouble of baking a scrumptious cake to celebrate which he delivered to us. We also got to mingle with a litter of puppies which was a treat & added bonus : ). Eamonn came to the rescue when my husband has an allergic reaction as well , promptly bringing over some antihistamines early in the morning. Twas a perfect weekend, owed to the place and hosts. Thanks so much for having us and spoiling us!

We had a beautiful stay on their farm. The place was cozy, peaceful, and had everything we needed. Linda and Lachlan were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

It’s a fantastic stay. Beautiful Lakehouse. Great for a family of 4. Got plenty to do at the premises, sauna by the lakeside, kayaking at Cooma Bay and cooking in the beautiful kitchen with the freshly picked vegetables from the garden. Also, there are two lovely doggies, Matilda and Bella checked us in and out. Amazing host!

We loved staying at Tracey’s home. She was the perfect host, perfect location, everything was perfect :) Spotlessly clean and very stylish and comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. Tracey was the helpful and very frendly. Great with communications. Would highly recommend this property its the perfect place for a get away felt views and surroundings were amazing lots of great walks and i will definitely be staying again! ❤️

We had a great stay in Hawks Nest at Kristina’s place. The accomodation was stunning and perfect for a get away from Sydney. The doggo loved the space to be able run around in the garden. It really was the perfect set up to be able have some home cook nights in and also local to the shops is there was anything we need. Would highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

Went to Tiny with my partner and our two dogs. We loved every second of it! Cary and Trudy were very accommodating and both responsive when needed. The photos don’t do the place justice. The beers were a good touch 😉 thought we would get rained out but thankfully the sun came out for us when we were here for the weekend. More than enough firewood for us on both nights, hot water was so good along with excellent water pressure. It’s the only place on the property so it was nice and private. Dogs had free roam which they loved, but make sure they have good recall as there is no fencing. Explored around town during the day but honestly was so excited to just get back to the place and enjoy it. Will definitely book again!! Thank you, Cary and Trudy!
