Vacation rentals with a kayak in Harstine Island

Amazing place with an outstanding view! the property was really clean with all the amenities! The private beach was just perfect (Wait for higher tides though). the hot tub was really great as well. Great place to visit over a weekend with your own little nest overlooking the Hood canal :) Thanks to the host!

This is the 3rd time our group has stayed at this home and again will be back. The view is stunning and lots of space for a large size group! I will say a weekend isn't enough because it's very hard to leave! Tiffany does her best to accommodate her guests. Home was clean hot tub was ready and we enjoyed our time fore sure. The only small issue we has was with a neighbor but I feel it was resoved. He thought we may have taken clams or oysters with a small blue bucket but when confronted I showed him that we only had a few pieces of driftwood and shells for my garden. Other then that small situation everything was fabulous! We definitely will be back!

It a wonderful visit! The beauty surrounding this place is amazing. We saw so much wildlife. Will definitely consider staying here again when we visit family.

We stayed here with 4 under 4 and the kiddos loved it! There was soooo much for them to do at the house - they never wanted to leave to do other things. The hosts were responsive and helpful when needed. There is even more toys than the pictures! Beds were comfy & kitchen was very well stocked! We enjoyed playing on the playground too!

This is a really nice spot in a well designed space. All the amenities are thought through, it’s a quiet neighborhood, and the outdoor space is beautiful.

Our stay was fantastic. It was everything and more of what we were hoping for. The house was clean, very comfortable, and a beautiful setting. We loved it!

The photos do not lie. Very peaceful spacious accommodations. The kayaks were wonderful for a peaceful late afternoon paddle. It is true that the path to the beach is very steep and not for the faint of heart or legs. The only slight drawback is that sound carries very easily through the air ducts, so if you're in the master bedroom, you will hear what's going on downstairs. But all in all, I would not hesitate to stay here again and again.

We really enjoyed Amanda's place. The cabin is beautiful and the surroundings can't be beat. The cabin is set within the forest with views of the bay and is very relaxing and peaceful. It's also very close to downtown Olympia for those looking to explore the city. Couldn't recommend enough!

One of a kind experience! Our family visited with the in laws from out of town and had such an incredible time. The hosts were so helpful with all their great communication. Everyone was so impressed with the lot size and location. Waking up to the beautiful views was inspiring. This is an oyster lover's paradise! Just walk out to the backyard and they're everywhere. Roasting marshmellows and hanging out by the firepit was truly memorable. The kids really appreciated the game room with air hockey and video games. All the toys and books were a nice added touch. Thank you, Vy! We look forward to visiting again.

It is not often that a place far exceeds expectations, but this place was far and beyond what we thought we were getting. Pictures do not capture the beauty and comfort this place offers. We had great weather, and were able to enjoy the paddle boarding, kayaks, float tubes, fishing, and swimming. It truly is “Lake Life” meets Puget Sound. The staff go out of their way to make sure guests are not just getting what they paid for, but are truly enjoying themselves and the resort. Very reasonable mooring fee and if you’re paying attention to tides the boat launch is more than adequate. If you’re not enjoying your stay, I’d say it’s a “you” problem. The Admiral Cottage has a waterside bedroom and a deck that will make you wish you had booked another night. Thanks to all who made our stay truly relaxing and entertaining.

Beautiful location and amazing restoration of a cabin which was built in the 1920’s. My family owned this cabin for many years. Erika bought it from the people we sold it to in 2002. She brought our beloved cabin back to life. It was a surreal experience for me to returnto “ the cabin” 20 some years after we sold it. Everything was exactly like I remembered but far better. A beach place which everyone falls in love with as soon as they enter the front door. We hope to return to this little bit of heaven soon. Thank you Erika for sharing your cabin with us!!!

I visited the cottage to escape the city for a few days. This place is absolutely adorable— completely drenched in natural sunlight. It manages to maintain its historical charm while also feeling modern. I did some remote work during the visit & the WiFi worked perfectly— I could even get signal sitting outside. It was a little too chilly to take advantage of the water, but even just sitting outside on the floating dock or the balcony provided a lot of peace. This place is the perfect mixture of providing a secluded feel while still being just a short drive to grocery/ restaurants. I truly loved my stay here & am already trying to figure out when I might be back!

Great overall stay, definitely recommend for people looking to have a peaceful getaway. The host was fantastic and very organized. Hope to plan another trip here in the future!

We were in Port Orchard for a graduation and we stayed at David’s place for peace and quiet after fun filled days! It was just perfect! We loved having our coffee on the porch in the morning while enjoying the view! The place was spotless and comfortable and we felt right at home! We will definitely stay here again any time we’re in town!

Tim and Lorrie were Amazing!! From the moment we arrived we found home made cookies and fresh flowers. This place was beautiful. Everything about it. It was a perfect get away from the noise, even our kids said it was a 10/10. The photos don’t do it justice. We will definitely be back again.

Jacob's place is really special! The view and outdoor seating area would make this spot worth it, but the house is also really well taken care of, cozy, and enjoyable to spend time in. We loved our time here and felt it was a great home base for exploring the area or relaxing on the water.

This our second stay and we hope to be able to return. The house is right on the water. At times, you look out of the living room (at high tide) and feel you might be on a boat. We were so grateful and happy to be there three weeks, and grateful to that the owners share so much: boats, standup paddle boards, sauna, coffee, tea. The house is clearly loved and cared for and it feels special to be inside of it. For those who don't know, Harstine Island is quiet. We loved running in the state parks (there are two), the Saturday summer farmer's markets, but also just loved walking along the beach by the house and reading on the deck. Five very big stars. It is truly heavenly.

We had a wonderful stay at this adorable little cabin on the water in Olympia, Washington. The home is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed—cozy, charming, and just the right amount of space for a relaxing getaway. All the amenities were provided, making it incredibly easy to settle in and feel at home. From the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable bedding, everything was just perfect. The location right on the water is stunning—peaceful, scenic, and a great place to unwind. I was also lucky to enjoy some truly beautiful weather during my stay, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful and peaceful vacation weekend in Allyn! Fang’s home was easy to get to and settle into. We loved watching the water and tides, and it was easy to walk to restaurant, coffee shops and more. We spent most of our days on day trips in the region (Staircase Ridge & Hama Hama Oysters, and the Tacoma Zoo). This was the perfect place to recharge. We also loved the kayaks and hot tub, and generally cozy space. Fang was proactive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay as well.

Stunning views, a lot of water activities. The place is cute and comfortable, will come back!

This was such a lovely place to spend our honeymoon. Surrounded by nature in every direction, waking up to birds chirping and a beautiful lake view. There were so many small details, from extra toothbrushes and a blow dryer in the bathroom to twinkle lights on the patio for a romantic evening outside. Jordyn was so responsive and helpful! Thanks for a great stay.

It’s a must if you are looking for a peaceful family getaway! Our family really enjoyed the beautiful views, open windows, spacious patio, kayaks and wildlife. The property was very clean, with clear and detailed instructions. Definitely returning for a longer stay!

Molly was the most helpful host, the drive way sneaks up on you but if you read all the items before check in youll know exactly what to look for. The photos Molly provided were so helpful and she was extremely understanding and responsive. The space was absolutely PEACEFUL and perfect for families. The amount of items left for guests to use made everything very simple, lifejackets in all sizes including little pups, kitchen items and plenty of towels. If you can't figure something out through pictures or the check in binder, Molly is right there friendly and ready to help.

Nice and cozy place surrounded by trees. Relaxing to sit outside on the hammock and just listen to nature. You might even get a visit from a friendly deer. They give you everything that you need if you want to enjoy a day or two on the lake. Always answered questions that I had in a timely manner. Food and activities to do in close proximity. They leave brochures for you if you are interested in driving for further out places. Overall it was everything my wife and I were looking for. I highly recommend this place if you are planning a trip in or around hoodsport.
