Please note the pool and hot tub are only open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The house is comfortably situated in the middle of the Hartstene Pointe gated community, which has a number of great amenities for you to enjoy. Our favorite features are the 5 miles of walking trails and beaches all around the point, the pool and pickleball!

The NEST offers travelers a respite from city life without leaving behind the comforts of home. Our 6 acre homestead is located just outside of the historic fishing village of Gig Harbor WA & a 1 hr drive or ferry to Seattle. We are 10 min from state parks, hikes, beaches, restaurants, water sport rentals, kid fun, & antique stores. You will be staying in a stylish TINY house (300 sqft) w/loft & private downstairs bedroom. Fresh produce, gardens, farm animals, & a homesteading family happy to introduce you to the animals and share their homesteading knowledge with you.

Come and enjoy our beautiful country home! The fresh air, forest, and slow pace will help you to relax. You will be lulled to sleep by the croaking frogs and awakened to the song of birds. You will have the entire ground floor of our 3 story home with your own private entrance, facing the ponds and forest. Spencer Lake, Phillips Lake, and Harstine Island boat launches are all within 10 minutes. We have 2 large ponds and a year round creek for you to meander and explore.

Tranquility in the woods; Bear Ridge Tipi

This is 20ft Cheyenne Tipi with a separate heated bath hut and small cook hut is located in Lakebay, WA. Views across Puget Sound & Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, deer in the yard and bald eagles soaring above. This is glamping at its finest. When you wake in the morning, for heat you have central heating from a real furnace. Lying in bed you can control lights, Smart TV, and even the google hub. We can add a 4 people tent as well as a ‘pak ‘n play for infants upon request.

Front and back decks with patio sets. Walk in the woods or the two waterfront parks on the island. Basic breakfast, coffee, tea, snacks, condiments and spices are provided.
