We had a great stay! Our plan was to lie low for a long weekend and this was the perfect place to do that. The kitchen was fully stocked, hot tub was amazing and the lake was so peaceful. Bonus that my dog was able to join us too!

Very clean, peaceful, beautiful place. A bit small for our family of 6, but perfect for a short stay, landing place if planning to be out a lot, or for a smaller family. Nice back yard area and hot tub. Kayaks were a wonderful treat. We saw a muskrat, turtles, and other wildlife.

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Gary’s place. The lake, the pontoon, paddle boards and pedal boat were used daily. It is private and quiet. There are plenty of life vests and even some large inner tubes you can take out on the water. The floating dock and lily pad were covered in goose poop while we were there so we didn’t use them. The house was comfortable and had more amenities than most air BNBs we’ve stayed at. Our favorite spot (besides being on the water) was drinking coffee and reading on the covered porch! Would recommend to families!!

The hosts went above and beyond to support our family during one of the most exciting and emotional times in our lives—the arrival of our child through adoption. With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. Wonderful stay. The house was well stocked and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The lot is very large with plenty of space for yard games and activities. Would 100% look for availability here, if we were staying in the area in the future.

Second stay, always so nice!!

Great little place near the lake! Very clean and I loved the modern decor; there is a lot of attention to detail. Great kitchen and we appreciated the Keurig coffee and complimentary bottle of wine. Beds were comfortable, linens were fresh!

We had a party of 4 and our medium sized dog. The home was clean, decorated beautifully and they did a great job utilizing the space. We hope to get back again for another trip.

We were in Hillsdale for work and it was so nice to come home to this quiet cabin by the lake. We were able to cook our own meals and relax with the beautiful sunsets most evenings. Very much appreciate finding such a beautiful place that's also pet friendly. The neighborhood felt safe and the neighbors were all very friendly. The kitchen is very well-equipped. Beds are comfortable with individual AC units in each room. Akrum was very responsive to messages and access was very easy. We will definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

We had such a phenomenal time at the cottage. The family that owns the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. Truly made us feel at home and it’s an incredible location for a small get away. We’re very appreciative of the hospitality and opening their home

this place was very quaint. very clean. Lake was snowy and frozen but beautiful! the indoor porch my favorite! easy check in and easy check out instructions, owner extremely nice. couldn't ask for a better stay! shipshewana only 15 mins away, a MUST SEE. Will be back when weather is better! Thank you for a great stay!

Brad's house is in a great location and all 5 lakes can be accessed from his lake. He does have a pontoon to rent and dock, but our family decided to bring our own. The house has so many places to sleep and plenty of linens. Brad was great at responding to questions. House was very clean.
