We loved this very nice house for a few days with family. The well stocked kitchen was very nice as we did cook here. We appreciated the Keurig coffee and the tea options provided. Everything was well organized and clean, we did find the single sheets and two blankets were still damp from being washed so we placed them in the dryer and that was fine then. I would highly recommend this place for a small family or several friends to hang out. The community was very calm and pleasant as we walked around. We met several locals who were very friendly too. It was an extra pleasure that our grandson could bring his old dog as he is very attached to him. Thanks for a wonderful stay! The hosts communicated very well!

We felt right at home! The host, Kayla was very responsive and had everything we needed. She even reached out to us to inquire on refills of any products. The kids had a great time making s’mores! It was a beautiful gathering for our family and our kids absolutely LOVED the home and all the games. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the Monroe/Luna Pier area!

The "cozy cabin" was a perfect weekend getaway for my children and I. There was plenty to do at the cabin and surrounding area. Beautiful well kept lake home. We enjoyed our time and would be delighted to go stay again!

Rosalind is a very gracious host. Always asking after my comfort when I saw her. She has an amazing breadth of knowledge about Monroe for those that love history or just want to know where the best restaurants are. Her home is very special. If you love historic homes, this is a treat. It was built in 1870 as the “Lotus Bed and Breakfast.” Tall windows set in 12” ceilings and wood floors throughout. I had a beautiful Art Deco bed and dresser set in my room and 1920s bathroom from when it was remodeled. I loved that laundry was included and I met some extra special four legged friends (that live away from guest’s quarters). A unique experience in a place loved and cared for by its owner. If you want, you will also meet a great conversationalist who is a pleasure to chat with.
