Monthly Rentals in Garfield

I am so grateful we found Marilyn’s place - it was absolutely perfect for our family ski trip to Monarch. The location could not be better for skiing and the surroundings are incredibly beautiful. Everything was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We have a big family and we never ran out of hot water, the closets have plenty of hangers (I always love that), the beds are comfortable and we had room to watch movies together after a long day. Marilyn is an amazing hostess. She was able to accommodate my sister in law who arrived early, she proactively checked on us but never bothered and when we had questions she responded immediately.If you are thinking about it, don’t look twice- book this place

Cassie’s place was a perfect getaway for our family ranging in age from 4-74. Family board games to quiet private balconies. We truly enjoyed our convenient location to Monarch Mountain for skiing and drive in to town for amazing dinners. Cassie was extremely proactive in communication and the place is very well kept and clean! We can’t wait to visit Deep Roar again!

Great stay at this updated cabin near Monarch. The unit was as advertised/pictured and clean. It's in the "town" of Garfield, which is essentially a small neighborhood of homes about 5 min drive from the ski resort. As others have mentioned, there are no shops/services in Garfield, so you'll want to bring your supplies or make the 20 min drive down to Salida. Knowing that, we loved the location and ease to the slopes, and we didn't mind the short drive into town or over to Mount Princeton Hot springs. The hot tub works well and is a nice touch on a cold day/evening. There is only one bathroom and the shower is pretty tight, which worked fine for us, but something to be mindful of depending on your guests. The host was very communicative and it's nice to have the electronic keypad so that you don't have to worry about keeping track of keys.

If you are planning on skiing at monarch mountain this is the place to stay! It’s located 10 minutes from the lifts. The views are beautiful and the cabin was very clean. The Wi-Fi was not working when we got there but Kevin was quick to reply to us and fix the problem! Would definitely stay here again.
