Vacation rentals with breakfast in Friesland

Mia is the best host we have ever experienced! We would give 100 stars if we could. And her beds are magic as it was the best sleep. She really is the most thoughtful and caring host, the accommodation is so charming and we highly recommend Mia.

The contact with Jacqueline was very easy and we were warmly welcomed. The room is clean, very spacious and with a wonderfully large bed. The private bathroom is also well maintained and the shower is wonderful.😊 The house is close to a nature reserve and the center is within cycling distance. All in all, this is a very nice base from which to explore Leeuwarden and the surrounding area. We will definitely come back!

We only stayed for one night but felt right at home. Petra is a very welcoming host.

stayed one night because of Metal Festival in Leeuwarden. Meneer Waling is very nice, talkative and hospitable. The place is exactly what I needed and it even closer to the city center that I thought (you don't really need a bus)

We were allowed to use the wonderful accommodation of Nittert & family for four nights - we would have preferred not to leave. What a lucky strike: from the loving, detailed furnishings of all rooms, to the large, perfectly equipped kitchen and the comfortable living room, to the well-maintained, lushly planted garden, where you could sit and read in peace... Such a kind of hospitality is not a matter of course. We were happy and grateful and very enthusiastic :-) We'd love to come back anytime!

Lia is extremely friendly and really helpful. She helped us find places to enjoy our last day in the Netherlands, and she prepared us breakfast before we had to go! The place was also very good, quiet and clean. Thank you Lia!

I didn't meet Cobbie but I met his 2 sons. They're adorable. A really exotic experience. Thank you for the lovely welcome from start to finish. Large and spacious room with a great view and good breakfast included. Recommended.

Janneke is nice, helpful and interested! Exactly appropriate! Everything is perfectly fine, clean, tidy and a great bed! In consultation, I showered at night, which was also no problem for Janneke (I had a party close by, with dressing and green hair, hence the desire to shower). Janneke is super understanding and that made me feel very much at home. Janneke is a super host! :)

Very nice B&B in a quiet area, especially in summer, the whore should be beautiful.

The flat was very cute and peaceful. The owners we're very kind, helpful and friendly. The location was quiet and nice to take long walks. Would definetely recommend staying there and we would Love to come again.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

Hèléne is a very sweet and enthusiastic hostess! With a very nice house where you stay in your own part. Bathroom and suite, delicious breakfast with fresh strawberries from our own garden. Highly recommended.
