The place was/is very lovingly decorated. The surrounding area as well! It is a very functional place to stay and my personal taste is small and cozy. Yfke was present and accommodating when needed. She just has a knack for creating a nice and friendly atmosphere. All in all, recommended if you want to treat yourself.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Very quiet accommodation, ideal for families with children, large meadow right outside. Playground or football field not far away. Beautiful sunny terrace. Also ideal to start cycling routes into the surrounding area from here. Apartment is well furnished and we didn't miss anything. Apartment, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom very clean. I would come back directly if I were to plan anything in the region.

Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

what a lovely place to be. the yurt is spacious and well furnished. The pipo wagon with sanitary and kitchen is conveniently furnished and everything you need is there. Outside a wonderful space, with lots of fruit trees and a campfire place. Eda gave good tips of places where it was nice to be, suitable for me. In addition, a wide range of workshops to choose from. A very special place!

A very nice cottage to enjoy in peace. The private terrace is very nice to enjoy. When the sun is out you have sun all day. The cottage has all the amenities and shops are within walking distance.

Wonderful stay in a pleasant and very quiet holiday park near Ruinen. Great place to take beautiful walks and bike rides. An address to rest well and recharge completely, partly thanks to the singing of various birds that we have heard. House is bright and spacious and equipped with every comfort. We'd love to come back!

We arrived a little late at location after a long day of work. This was not a problem for the great host and hostess. We were warmly welcomed in the evening and we felt right at home. The cottage was above expectations. You absolutely don't feel like you're at someone's home. Our first evening went wonderfully after a good home-cooked meal with all the necessities for a culinary feat. The next day we hardly got out of our bed because it was so nice. Ba some tips from the host we could take a super nice walk in the adjacent forest. Saved at sabrina's tip to a delicious restaurant. Really nice to be away from it all. We are helped with a warm welcome by these wonderful people with their beautiful and especially sweet dogs. This cottage is a number 1 recommended by us!! Hopefully, until soon and thank you!

We spent a weekend with two families including four children. Location is beautiful, quiet yet close to all amenities. The accommodation is very complete and equipped with every comfort. The children have enjoyed the space with table tennis table, pool table and shuffleboard for hours. Ideal when it was raining outside. The horses outside were also very popular with the children. The sauna and plunge pool for the parents made the house complete. Mieke is very hospitable and gave us good tips for the surroundings. We had a fantastic weekend. The kids can't wait to go again. The chalet is in a stunning location, surrounded by nothing but fields. The chalet is well-equipped, just don't forget to take all the towels you need (including tea towels and hand towels). Annemarie was a wonderful host and took the time to talk to us around the farm. We can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! We stayed in a fixed tent that was equipped with electricity, real beds , which were even heatable, and a fridge – very comfortable and practical. The sanitary facilities were consistently very clean and well maintained, which we noticed particularly positively. The square is located in a quiet, natural environment – ideal for relaxing and unwinding from everyday life. If you're looking for peace and nature, this is the place to be. We will be happy to come back!

Fantastic place to stay! Extremely friendly, welcoming hosts, who were also so great that they wanted to pick us up and take us to the Friese Woudenpad we walked! Beautiful quiet place with spotless and stylish room and "living room/kitchen", very warm welcome with drink, also extra possibility to order drinks/snacks, and of course the garden! Especially a piece of garden for guests, including campfire pit and gazebo. Oh and within walking distance of supermarket, restaurant and bus stop. What else do you want? In one word, great!❤️ We'll definitely be back sometime 😀

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful room! It was even more stunning and well-organized than the photos. The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

We had a lovely relaxing weekend! The place itself is incredibly beautiful: the unobstructed view over the meadow, the peace and quiet and all modern amenities. The garden room is practical and nice to stay "in the evening or "in the morning, the tent was spacious and tidy and the breakfast was delicious. Nearby, there is plenty to do, so we went kayaking in the Linde, we visited Wolvega and we went hiking at 2 dolmens. We had a great weekend! Not to mention: the BBQ and the hot tub were really an addition to our weekend. Beautiful under the stars!

A beautiful place hidden in the Frisian countryside. Nice reception and the accommodation is as described, nothing to criticize. From here you can easily go in all directions to visit Frisian places or lakes, walk or bike. A day crossing to Ameland or Terschelling is fine and takes little time. Repeatable.

What an excellent house to stay. Very great surroundings, quiet and beautiful stargazing at nights. Close enough for travelling around Friesland and/or visiting the isles of Ameland/Schiermonnikoog. The house itself has all features you need. Great kitchen, very good beds and big badroom. Highly recommended for a stay.

We (couple with 2 very young children) enjoyed a midweek in the outdoor house! Top location and a very nice cottage (especially for the composition of our family). The beds are fantastic! Also ideal that the lower bunk bed can be made into a crib, you do not have to drag a bed with you. No complaints, we'd love to come back!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

A really nice house with good basic amenities and a top modern bathroom! Geertje is very friendly and responds in the shortest time. We felt very comfortable, especially in the great garden. I'm sure we'll be back!

Very quiet at night, very peaceful sleep, excellent coffee, greeted by chickens and a rooster in the morning.

We were in Hoogersmilde for four days with 6 adults, a baby and a dog. We liked the vacation home, the fenced garden and the outdoor seating options very much. The beds were great and it was nice that there were fly screens on the windows and sliding door to the terrace. We liked the house and the nature reserve very much, so we can imagine coming back again.

It was all exactly as in the photos and as the description of the listing. It's a really great, spacious and stylishly furnished house. It was totally clean. You immediately felt at home. The cozy beds were also really great. We had a really nice time. It is highly recommend.
