What a wonderful stay! For the second time we have enjoyed this beautiful and cozy cottage. Everything you need is present – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds on which you sleep wonderfully. The cottage is neatly clean and really radiates warmth and coziness. Located in a charming and cozy street, it immediately feels like coming home. The host is friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Absolutely recommended – we would love to come back!

We had a great time in Sneek and the place was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, everything you need was available and really tasteful and yet practically furnished. The terrace and whirlpool are special highlights and Petra spoiled us with small snacks and cold drinks upon arrival. The location of the house is great, you can walk very quickly to the city center with many restaurants as well as the supermarket and yet it is quiet and we were able to sleep relaxed. We were also allowed to use the bicycles and took a small tour. All around beautiful!

We had a great stay in this super compact and modern apartment. Marcel was on site shortly after we arrived and gave us a quick walkthrough of the place. The location is a bit remote, but very peaceful. We had breakfast outside in the mornings with cows grazing nearby. The apartment has a cozy living area – the kitchen is a bit small, but fully sufficient for our needs. The highlight was definitely the pool – absolutely awesome! There’s a lake just next door. We’d be happy to come back!

Had a nice stay with Helen and Haitze, very hospitable welcome. Quiet, rural location with attention to flora and fauna. Close to the beach but also to cities like Harlingen and Franeker, so an ideal place.

We had a wonderful stay at Marc's apartment, which is modern and tastefully decorated. Everything was very clean and we felt comfortable in all rooms. We found it very convenient to have a safe parking space right in front of the house. Also great: Bakery and supermarket are within walking distance in 10 minutes. Around Sneek there are many excursion possibilities, especially the smaller places, such as Workum, have their own charm and are worthwhile destinations. We will be happy to come back!

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

The house is in a great location, along the street that leads to the beach and a few minutes walk from the village and shops; it is bright and tastefully furnished; the interior spaces are very spacious, we have stayed there in three but it is suitable for more people; comfortable beds and good cleanliness; very large and well equipped kitchen; large manicured garden; a house full of charm and well inserted in the atmosphere of the island

We had a very relaxing stay with six plus dog. The location of the house is very quiet and really beautiful - several times we were lucky enough to admire an enchanting sunset over the lake. Within walking distance, we were several times at the small harbor and were able to relax there. Several small villages are easily accessible by bike, by car we were in various places of the IJsselmeer and in Sneek - all super cute! The house itself is spacious and optimally divided with a ground floor bedroom with its own bathroom but separate toilet that can be used by everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, although we would have liked a regular coffee machine in addition. The combination oven/microwave is super convenient. Big compliment too😉: Finally an apartment with enough hangers!

What a nice cottage this is. Nice and spacious for 2 people. Deliciously cool with the warmer weather. In this cottage, a lot of effort has been made to make everything fit together nicely. Everything is thought of, coffee maker, kettle. But also coffee and tea. Really nice that they think along with the people who come. We enjoyed the cottage and the area and will definitely come back. We stayed at the place with our kids (4 and 1), my in-laws and sister-in-law for a few days. The apartment was clean and as described. The apartment is so large that everyone gets their money's worth and can also retreat. The way to Hollum is no problem both on foot and by car and everything is quickly accessible.

Great apartment and very friendly host! Everything as expected. Located in a small village, hence limited opportunities what to do. Still, great to have a few relaxing days close to the sea.

Very nice house in a wonderful location. The water property with the beautiful terrace is really special. The house is bright and spacious. We arrived as a family with 7 people, it was perfect for that. In March, it was still a little chilly to use the terrace extensively, but the fireplace in the cozy living room was worth gold. We felt very comfortable.

We were in Hoogersmilde for four days with 6 adults, a baby and a dog. We liked the vacation home, the fenced garden and the outdoor seating options very much. The beds were great and it was nice that there were fly screens on the windows and sliding door to the terrace. We liked the house and the nature reserve very much, so we can imagine coming back again.

Our group had a very great time at this lovely accommodation. The location directly by the water was relaxing and offered beautiful views. The house was clean, well-equipped, and comfortably furnished. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. We’d definitely consider coming back.

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Highly recommended!! Great cottage: nice decor, sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. The contact with Herman is very pleasant, and he responds quickly. Finally, Appelscha is really fun to explore. In short: book!

We spent 9 nights with our 9-month-old son in the beautiful accommodation. Arrived at somewhat cooler temperatures, we were able to use the sauna and fireplace nicely and make ourselves comfortable in the house. On the warmer days, we enjoyed the fantastic sun terrace, which also offers direct access to the water for swimming. In the resort itself, there is the possibility to rent a boat or SUP and start right outside the front door. The beach can otherwise be reached in 2 minutes. Makkum is also very nice. We felt very comfortable in the house and would be happy to come back. If we had any questions, we immediately received a friendly answer from Jil & Ralf. Thank you!
