Waterfront vacation rentals in French Basque Country

We had a short stay but with a maximum of exceptional images thanks to the magnificent view from the Rhune to Seignosse! The top floor brings the expected calm. The accommodation is perfect for 2 people. Léna is very responsive when needed and accommodating on the flexibility of the arrival. Thank you, we had a lovely time. 👍

The apartment was not only the perfect place for us to explore Biarritz in all its facets, we also immediately felt at home. The apartment is very nicely decorated, has a small nice terrace and it has everything you need. Léa and Jean were really wonderful hosts who proactively and very kindly provided us with everything important and worth knowing. The apartment is in the center, so the finest bakeries, restaurants, bars and a supermarket are just a few steps away and you can comfortably walk past all the shops to the beach - whether to Grande Plage or Côte des Basques, whether to swim or surf. We were completely thrilled and hope to come back sometime.

Loli’s home is as very comfortable, clean and convenient to all walkable areas. Loli was very responsive and helpful with securing a taxi to Bilbao and other information. Love the view from her home as well. :)

Céline was a very welcoming host, beyond her welcome, the accommodation is very functional and has everything you need in terms of cooking utensils or cleaning (dishwasher, sponge, vacuum cleaner, clothesline, etc.), the accommodation seems suitable for weekends but also longer stays, the view from the accommodation is very nice and pleasant, in addition the location allows you to do everything on foot since the beach is a 10 minute walk and there is everything you need (bars, restaurants, shops, bookstores, tobacco...) a great stay in Socoa!!

pleasant stay, at a time of year that is not yet overcrowded, which allows you to live in peace. On the other hand: elevator breakdowns, when you have reduced mobility, are annoying!

We had a wonderful stay in Donostia at Inigo’s stylish apartment. The host was super communicative throughout and had thought of everything to make our stay a success - from the drinks in the fridge to greet us to the beach bag in the cupboard. We had high hopes for the location and view and it didn’t disappoint- it was such a joy to watch the sunsets over the bay from the terrace, and only a stone’s throw from the beautiful, sandy La Concha beach for swimming, running, walking and relaxing. Everything was walkable from the apartment - we didn’t have to take taxis or public transport once. The perfect spot for a chilled out and sophisticated mini-break - and our teenagers were blown away too.

Impeccable accommodation, directly in front of the bay, possibility of walking or cycling and very good restaurants nearby. Another tenant had a problem and we contacted Jeff by email, response within 5 minutes and problem solved.

We had a good stay, and most importantly would stay again. This is very much an airbnb flat with comfortable beds, nice shower, washer / dryer, and basic kitchen. The location is what makes it stand out, and the easy access to the city made the slightly funky living room and small kitchen unimportant. The hosts were great communicators, with clear check in instructions and great parking tips. We had some issues during the stay- -partying neighbors having a jam session from 1-3am, part of Saturday night in a city and it’s a very old building. - this unit shares an entry way with another unit that’s also managed by this host. The guests staying in the other unit were smoking inside and the smoke filled the entry way and flowed into our unit. The hosts asked them to stop, which they did for a short while, and then started again. Luckily we only had one day crossover, but was unfortunate. The hosts did their best

We had a great stay at Axel‘s house in Bidart. Plenty to do within walking distance, including an incredible beach with surfing as well. Nice patisserie located right down the street. The house itself is really cool and more spacious than it looks in the pictures. Loved the indoor/outdoor bar and outdoor shower. Finally, Axel was a great host!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central to the coast, the mountains, lots of walks and villages with good food and interesting history. Very nicely furnished and everything we needed. It is always a good sign when the kitchen knives are nice and sharp! We really appreciated Jackie’s help .

We had a lovely stay at Sharon and Joop's home. The latter is well thought out, accessible, pleasant and you feel good there. Being able to park next to the accommodations is a real advantage. We really enjoyed this place which is very well maintained, very clean inside and outside the accommodation. The welcome was very nice from the hosts, always concerned about the well-being of the tenants. The explanations are clear. We recommend a visit to Sharon and Joop without worries.

Nice little house with all comforts facing the Adour, quiet and peaceful environment very pleasant! Bonus: paddleboards and bikes are available. Samantha is responsive and the information is very clear. Our stay went perfectly, I would recommend it without so much as a second thought 😊 Thanks!

A just perfect stay! The villa is ideally located in Capbreton: close to the beach, shops, bike paths… everything is within easy reach. The house is superb, very well maintained and equipped with absolutely everything you need — it feels like home from the moment you arrive. But what really made our stay exceptional was our host: incredibly kind, always available and attentive to ensure that everything went smoothly. Her warm welcome really made a difference. We would recommend this villa without a second thought and hope to come back very soon!

The accommodation is faithful to the description and photos. Very peaceful and functional. We really enjoyed the very bright living room and the two terraces. Stephanie was clear in her instructions and always available. We are delighted with our stay!

François' place is great. Access to the beach (10 meters) and proximity to bars/restaurants is very convenient. Recommended!

We had a great stay in Laurent's studio: everything is perfect, whether it's the bedding, amenities, bathroom, kitchen, living room and balcony terrace. We felt good right away. Laurent is a very responsive and very welcoming host (thank you for the very welcome cold drinks when we arrived on a hot day...). The location of the accommodation is perfect: beaches, Port de Soccoa, restaurants, shops. Everything at the foot of the accommodation. For those who would worry about a lack of private parking, we found free spaces without any problem at any time of the day in the middle of August. A big thank you to Laurent for offering such a nice place to stay. We highly recommend it.

Great place and we had a really great stay overall! Location is prime with great access to all that San Sebastián has to offer. Host was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay.

Joel's apartment is located in a quiet residence with parking. It is a comfortable and well-equipped apartment. Ideal location: close to beaches, restaurants, shops and market halls.

Apartment with a beautiful view of Notre-Dame beach in Capbreton. It is not very large but well arranged and has all the necessary space for 2 people. We were welcomed by the owner's father who was extremely kind. There were also 2 bikes available which is a real plus for getting around the city.
