Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fræna Municipality

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Iren’s home. My husband and I were amazed with the views from the window and the layout of the home. We really felt right at home. We are very grateful that we got to enjoy such a beautiful home close to the city of Ålesund.

The house is very well located if you like some privacy and a view of the sea/fjord. We were there for 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves. Very nice on the outside of the house with barbecue and fire pit. The house is old, but was clean and tidy, and has what you need for kitchenware, TV and Internet. We explored nice hiking terrain close by and were a couple of trips on the sea. The boat on offer works fine, although there is an open boat. Thank you for lending us your house. Don't ignore that there can be a new round, when it's summer and sun.

A Very beautiful house in a nice location with a scenic view. Siv Ulla was very responsive and kept the house in prestine condition. Our kids too loved the place.

This is a charming place to stay on Kristiansund. It is not far to go by car to city center, about 15km. The house itself is like a museum from great grandma’s time. I liked the huge garden of the house. When we arrived yesterday, we spent the whole afternoon there, enjoying the sunshine, very relaxed and confortable. Although it is a bit challenge to go upstairs by stairs, but my son loves it. We would definitely like to come back some other time.

This is one of the best Airbnbs we've stayed in! The place was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities we needed—it truly felt like a home away from home. Hans was amazingly kind. We couldn’t work out how to charge our electric hire car and he came to the property and sorted for us.

Fantastic place with short distance to nice hiking and possibility to rent a boat nearby for those who want to fish. The house was much larger than we expected and the children appreciated all the toys that were there! Cozy host like black fort. We would gladly came back!

Lovely apartment in the center of Ålesund. Very easy access to the town swimming pool in centrum and also to the reasonable parking garage inside a mountain called Aksla. Having the washer/dryer and full kitchen was very helpful to us. Views of the town and water and islands were remarkable. There is no lift in the building so be prepared to climb 3 flights up to the apartment. Incredibly quiet for such an old building. The lighting is sophisticated by a little funky but the host will brief you.

Great apartment in the heart of Alesund! Exceeded our expectations! Everything was on a walking distance. Parking was super easy (may be due to weekend). Oscar was extremely prompt to respond to any of our query or need. Rooms were big in size and everything (room, bathroom, washing area, living room) was well appointed. Oscar was kind enough to allow us to do late check out. The whole apartment was on the first floor, so only a couple of stairs were there to enter the apartment. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this apartment of Oscar. Thanks Oscar.

Yael's Villa was exactly what my wife and I needed for a couple nights while exploring Ålesund and the surrounding area. It had everything you need to feel at home and between the deck, the jacuzzi, sauna, and water access, you could stay put and be very happy about it! Yael should teach a masterclass for other Airbnb hosts on how to make their guests feel welcome and valued. He was incredibly helpful during our stay and was quick to respond any time I sent a message. His homemade sauna is impressive and a real treat after a long hike or a dip in the frigid weather. He charges a few bucks to use it to help with electric which is completely understandable. Can't say enough nice things about Yael and the time my wife and I spent at his place. Close to a bus stop that will get you into city center, but if you have a car and want to drive in, that's easy too. Don't pass this place up!

Great place for family vacation. We felt right at home, especially the children's rooms are very lovingly designed. Kara was always available and gave valuable tips about the surroundings. The hikes on the Atlantic Road and in Immerdalen/Trollheimen were just great. We recommend the accommodation without reservation.

Great stay in gorgeous surroundings!

Wonderful and unique property in a stunningly beautiful natural landscape. We wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time here. Easily the best lodging of our trip and likely the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. All of the various indoor/ outdoor areas at the property are awesome. And we were very lucky with weather and only one rainy day. It is quite steep/ many steps up and down between the main house, cabin, and boat house with additional lounge areas down by the water so may not be for everyone. Toril and her husband were also so gracious to show us all around the property at check in, even a bit later than expected. This place was very special and would love to stay there again some day!
