Nice, relaxing, accommodating, peaceful location with a very short walk to the beach, a great view of the fish jumping in the pond, the geese taking a breather and the herons perching in the trees behind the house. The house itself was very clean and comfortable with most everything provided, including a dog (or child) gate for if needed. Sam, the host, is an excellent communicator and doesn't leave any stones unturned including friendly reminders the day of check-in and the night before check-out. He also provided recommendations for food, entertainment, and activities in the immediate area. We had an amazing trip and would definitely recommend to others!!

Beautiful home and surroundings. 3 couples with personal spaces and large communal spaces to gather. Very comfortable and clean. Recommend Kiss Cafe for breakfast. We also went through Savor Charleston and had Chef Morgan and her assistant prepare and serve a dinner at the house- fabulous food and was relaxing to just enjoy the views and the wonderful home. Highly recommend! It's no wonder their home receives the 5 star reviews!

We loved our stay at this lovely little home in Isle of Palms! An easy walk to the beach and lots of beach gear provided! Our family of five felt like we had adequate space. Lots of towels, dish soap, etc. Beautiful neighborhood. Calvin was lightning fast with his communication. Only thing we wish was different was how creaky the bed in the master bedroom was, LOL.

My friends and I just spent the weekend in Folly Beach. We loved the house! It's large and beautifully decorated, clean and well-maintained. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen and baths well-stocked with everything you need, i.e. coffee, dishwasher/laundry pods, hair dryers, beach towels, etc. It's literally steps to the beach and a nice walk into town. The expansive porches really make the house. Great views of the ocean. Highly recommend!

Wow. This is an amazing place to stay in Charleston — truly a one-of-a-kind experience! This carriage house is remarkably well done, keeping all of its unique historic character while providing all the needed/desired modern amenities. The neighborhood is so charming, as is the meticulously-kept courtyard garden. We especially enjoyed our time at The Wonderer. It’s a bit of a drive, but it gave us all the hotel perks we could have wanted while allowing us to enjoy the benefits of our own private space. The owners were so helpful and accommodating, and we loved their guide to the city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Mikes place worked very well for my toddler and I. We were able to visit both Folly and Kiawah beach during our visit. The location of this place was perfect! The bed in the master bedroom was quite comfortable and the indoor bicycle was a very thoughtful touch as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay. It was the best location for some peace and quiet and close enough to all of our points of interest. We were able to visit Mount Pleasant/ Shem Creek, Folley Beach and Downtown Charleston. The home and outdoor spaces were perfect and we loved all the details. The extra touches (quality shower products,games, and even slippers) make this visit one we can’t wait to revisit.

The place had all we needed, the walk to the beach and town was easy! Great area and convenient. Definitely would come back! Also, special touches were the dog treats and extra 💩 bags 🤣

Everything I hoped and wished for our stay was like the pictures and details! It was a gorgeous home, the bedrooms were comfy and spacious. The kitchen was massive and so perfect for a big group, the backyard with the pool was so beautiful and like a little oasis! It was the perfect distance to downtown, not too far. Such a good stay, definitely will be back!

This house was perfect for our family and our dogs. It was super clean and had everything we needed and more! The park within walking distance was awesome too. I would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 4 had an amazing time! The property is so peaceful, and you’re only a short walk or drive from the beach and pools. Tyler is amazingly communicative, helpful, and seems to truly want you to have a wonderful experience. Everything is just as it is pictured, including the beach wagon, toys, umbrellas. Our kids are 3 and 7, and they loved watching the wildlife from the deck. We were initially a little worried about the kids navigating the spiral staircase, and when we arrived we found they supply a baby gate that fits all the way around the railing and openings. It really eased our minds. If you like the idea of being submerged in nature by the beach, don’t hesitate to book this rental! We’ll return for sure!

The house was rented specifically for a golf weekend. It was very close proximity wise to both golf courses we played. Large pool was nice to have after a hot round of golf.

Beautiful place, extremely responsive and well worth the stay!

Sharon was amazing as well as her place!! I have never stayed at an air bnb more stocked than hers-it felt like I was at home! From tooth brushes and soap to shave kits and feminine products-SHE HAD IT ALL. She also keeps candy and snacks on hand for quick bites and little treats. There were at least a dozen extra blankets and lots and lots of pillows and sheets for those sleepover pillow forts or just some extra comfort. The bikes and beach equipment were an added touch that really just rounded out this vacation! Will absolutely book with Sharon in the future!

Communication with the property owner was great. The property was advertised perfectly and value priced. We had a blast and will try to return in the future.

This was the perfect beach house! The front porch was SO relaxing. This is one spot where you don’t feel like you have to go and do and can be content all day just sitting. We already booked for a return stay.

A great place to rent out! My boyfriend and I had such a great time! The house was primarily clean, it’s like three blocks from the beach and the response time was amazing! Plus I accidentally forgot to clean out the fridge before I left and they were well more than accommodating! Thank you all for the visit, it was a great experience.

We had a great stay for our girls trip! We arrived extremely early as we drove overnight and were so grateful that the hosts allowed us to check in ahead of schedule. They were very accommodating throughout our stay, even providing extra bedding for an air mattress. The place itself was quiet, cozy, and perfect for relaxing. The bed was super comfortable, which made all the difference after long days out. We really enjoyed how close it was to Folly Beach (8 min) and only 15 min from the downtown area. And on top of it, they let us park in the driveway :) Would definitely stay here again!

The most breathtaking place I have ever stayed. Made it hard to sleep late and go to bed early, as all I wanted to do was sit on the porch and look at the views. We watched dolphins play and all the wildlife. The fire pit at night was so relaxing while listen to the water. I am already planning a time when I can go back!

Surf Song Cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and has an incredible location steps from the beach. The homes large windows and deck allowed for amazing views. The kitchen contained everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and the master bathroom was absolutely beautiful. The house rules did not bother us a bit...we played music at a reasonable level and had no problems. After seeing a protected turtle nest on the beach right in front of the cottage which was very exciting, we understood why bright lights and loud music rules are necessary. Thank you Steve and Sarah for great communications and sharing your beautiful cottage.

This was our second time staying at the Sea Urchin! We had such an amazing time! The pool and fenced in backyard is perfect for our family. We walked to the beach and to dinner! Everything was awesome! We’ll be back!

One of the best AirBnBs I’ve stayed at in Folly. The view is truly spectacular and the house comes exactly as described - A perfect beach getaway. There was plenty of room for our group (6 adults) both to hang around and for sleeping. The walk to beach was 2-3 minutes at most which was amazing. Town was also very easy to walk to which our group felt was an undersold positive of the house. Matt was a fantastic host the entire time which made the stay even better.

What a delightful experience. We visit Folly often and have stayed in many Airbnbs. We LOVED being here! Can’t wait to come back! If you are looking for a bit of beach privacy, and bring your dogs… this is the perfect place. I loved every moment in and around the property. Such a fun house and location. William was so kind and helpful. So grateful for the experience.
