“A lovely, warm, secluded spot. It’s still close enough to get out and about and visit some of the lovely places nearby or to simply lose yourself in a long walk on t’moors, working up a thirst and appetite. We will be back, for sure. Gilly and James were lovely and helpful with tips of things to do whilst we were there too.”

“Caroline has thought of everything that her guests could possibly need. Her home and garden are beautiful and her hospitality is outstanding. We loved the location of the village. I would be very happy to return to her place if we find ourselves in Exmoor again.”
You will love our luxurious newly converted barn with its woodburning stove and sauna. It is adjacent to our farmhouse so help is on hand with advice on the local area; we run guided walks and can provide breakfast and farmhouse suppers on request. Although we are in a secluded valley, it is just a short walk along the riverbank to the village stores, two recommended pubs and a tearoom, so no worries about whose turn it is to drive! We also provide mountain bikes and a map to explore the area.
“Great accommodation in a superb location! Stayed a couple of nights and had a really nice walk right from the door. Very well equipped and cosy. Comfortable bed. Good internet connection. Good food options in Exford and nearby Dulverston. Very helpful and communicative hosts with great local knowledge. Would definitely stay again!”
