Gorgeous little house with cap cod feel, right on the water. We call this baby "Water's Edge on Tainter Lake". Perfect way for a quick escape from the Twin cities, only 50 minutes away. Fish off the permanent dock on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets on a fun, active recreational lake. Short boat ride to Jake's super club. We came up for trout fishing, and Jim was helpful by having a map ready and some of the local spots within minutes of the place, and great fishing. Having the owners close but still very private with the way it is all set up was nice, able to walk out the door and wander the trails. Jim had firewood all split dry and ready to go even kindling perfect for the nice fire just out the side doors. Great stay and great host.
