Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Eau Claire

My wife and I just stayed at FishTail Lodge! It was Perfect! Pictures were exactly how the cabin appeared. Tom is an amazing host who responds to any question quickly. Check in and Check out was easy. The Cabin is in a Wonderful location and is spotless. There is so much to do within the property itself. From Relaxing at the fire pit, to the screened in porch or on the pontoon. There is a pool table, darts, and ample games and movies. The beds are amazingly comfortable. We have rented other cabins in the past, I would say, without question, this is the best place we have rented in every aspect. If you are reading reviews in order to help decide if this is the place. . . This IS the place! Rent it! You won't be disappointed.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views from the many huge windows and 2 decks are amazing! We had 3 turkeys and a deer roaming the yard during our stay, which was so delightful. The house was extremely comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed with nice extras. It was so relaxing and quiet there that we didn't even want to leave the property. We did go to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha which was fun and interesting. Wabasha is an easy drive from the house and has a grocery store and Kwik Trip for all your needs. Dale was very responsive to my messages and very friendly. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Beth was awesome to work with. Extremely responsive, and so kind and flexible to allow us to check in early with our baby so she could catch a nap. We used this space with friends for a wedding in that area and it was perfect. Highly recommend staying here.

Great private location with beautiful view of the river. Interior is a bit dated but comfortable furniture and well equipped. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

The cabin was a great place for our family to gather and celebrate our granddaughters graduation from Stout. We enjoyed the lake and firepit. We would definitely recommend Michelle's cabin.

Another great stay at Kevin's place. Kevin was very accommodating, responsive and helpful. We hope to stay again next year when we are in the area.

The Holm was perfect for a mini friend reunion as we were all in town for a wedding! The sauna and 10 minute drive to the winery venue definitely sold us on the property. But it was also peaceful and charming with enough beds for what we needed. I almost wish we would have booked another night so we could enjoy all the little hangout spots outdoors!

This is a beautiful and tastefully decorated property that is very roomy and comfortable. We were able to walk to local bars and restaurants. it is conveniently located near Levee Park with easy access to walk by the river, as well as short drives to other Scenic River Road locations. The host (Adam) was attentive. We highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay! The location is excellent—just a short and easy walk to the Mayo Clinic, which made everything very convenient. Terri and Brett were great communicators and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone needing close access to the Clinic.

Bob & Lisa’s home was very beautiful & we felt right at home! Bob came out & greeted us soon as we got there, showed us around, & we’re always willing to help if needed! They are such wonderful hosts! We’ll definitely be back in the future!(:

We really enjoyed all of the little touches and amenities. Emily has thought of everything. She was unbelievably quick to respond to any of our questions. She was so accommodating and helpful. Her place was so quiet and comfortable. Everything was updated and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home.

We loved our stay at Katie’s place. She was super kind and helpful. The place was just as described and very close to Mayo Clinic for my md appts. So much better than staying in a hotel. Thank you Katie

Becca's place was just as described. Super comfortable and open. In a quiet area off the road a bit. It was super convenient for me and had everything I needed for several days of cooking for myself and taking walks in the nearby Quarry Hill Nature Center. Nothing is far away in Rochester, so getting to restaurants and grocery stores was very easy. Would highly recommend and return again if I'm in the area.

I would rate a 10 if it was an option. I stayed for over a week and Berni's place worked out perfect in so many ways. It had everything I needed including plenty of space to store my things in the kitchen and bedroom. The place and furniture were well taken care of and the linens were clean and fresh. The place flowed very well so I always felt like I was in a home versus a 'space'. The location was peaceful, very walk-able, close to a local trail that interconnected with the city, and I felt very safe in the area. Berni was an amazing host, very personable, and responded very quickly when I reached out to her. I felt very welcome (including the delicious bread she left for me at arrival) and she treated me more than a mere airbnb renter. She was quick to recommend places that may be of interest to me as well. I would definitely stay again. In fact, her place is going on the top of my list.

During our 1-week stay, we appreciated the closet space, clean covers, having a washer/dryer to use, a big table, and comfy recliners. Wi-Fi was fast and the TV was really nice. Had the feel of like a nice and cozy finished basement. Some things to know: The bathroom was a tight fit and the shower liner doesn't seem as clean. Also, some of the towels are stained, but there are some cleaner ones and there's bleach in the laundry room if you want to wash them. Plus, I recommend bringing a towel or sponge to use for dishes. Overall, we had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. We took a long walk through the city and could easily walk to Aldi or Hy-Vee for stuff. John responded to our needs as soon as he could (i.e. paper towels and tissue). Would definitely stay here again. Hopefully, it'll be available on our next visit to Rochester :))

This is a great little space! I stayed here while starting a new job at Winona State, and it couldn't have been more convenient. In addition to being close to WSU, I was able to walk to all the downtown restaurants, the library, the co-op, the lake and the river. Steve and Nan are fantastic hosts who will make you feel very cared for. They are super accommodating, warm and friendly. They left fun little breakfast items including bagels, fruit, eggs and even fresh peanut butter from the co-op. Weather permitting, the outdoor space is a lovely spot to sit and read in the dappled sunlight. There is an additional room that can be added on if you need more space, which was perfect when my college-aged son joined me halfway through my stay.
