Smoking friendly vacation rentals in East Dorset District

We had a wonderful stay at Carola's. She was very welcoming to us and our puppy. The little garden was attractive and good for the puppy. The kitchen was very well equipped and the milk, bread and tasty marmalade made an excellent breakfast. A selection of teas and coffee were provided. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. Carola was very friendly and helpful. This was one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed in.

I booked the stay at 40 winks for my parents - Sharne is a great host - she reached out as soon as I booked to ensure her place was suitable for their needs as there are stairs leading down to it, just before arrival she asked for their preferred milk choice, a thoughtful touch & sent me a nice message after they left - thank you for making their stay so lovely ❤️ My parents left this feedback about their stay: 40 Winks is a very relaxing retreat, a delightful little flat & Sharne made us feel very welcome. Within walking distance is the village shop and a garden centre - a must for a lunch - delicious! For a quiet, peaceful getaway 40 Winks is perfect

Although I agree with some previous comments about some updating being needed it catered for my needs. The bedroom/lounge was comfortable and roomy. The shower had been just redone and well with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped. Parking within the pub carpark gave me peace of mind. Overall I had an enjoyable stay a stones throw from the famous Gold Hill. Daniel is a very friendly host and always went the extra mile with any request. Recommended.

We had a lovely one night stay at Damian’s place. The Airbnb was spotless and comfortable with all amenities you would need. The only comment I would say is that the parking space is quite tight so would be tricky in a larger car but it was right next to the house so very convenient. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Everything was clean and orderly. Terry and his parents helped and informed us well. For me as an older person the second floor was a bit strenuous, but the steps were good. The balconys were nice. Terry was always helpful.

Very convenient and ideally situated. There are two buildings with the same name on that street though.

This flat was a great find ! Free parking spot right outside. The flat is right in the town centre but out of the way. It had a lovely privaye court yard with seating area with pretty lights ! It was quiet considering how close to the centre. Charlotte was very accommodating and responsive. I like to cook, and the kitchen was perfectly clean & had all the equipment and more 👩‍🍳 The bed was super comfy ! The TV was huge 😆 Great stay, will be back 🙌😊

We came back to stay at this flat because it has a great location, is a perfect size for two people to stay comfortably and the little garden is also fantastic. It has everything you need for a lovely getaway and Otsile is a great host.

We had the best stay here! It is such a unique and comfortable place to stay. The location is perfect for everything in Frome and Mei is such a welcoming and helpful host.

We just stayed a couple of nights - from booking it to check out, the communication was fab. We received a Whats App message with a few photos on how to find the property, where to park as well as other really helpful information. Could not fault it at all. One blink away from Babington House, a very homely cottage and lovely sunny garden to relax in! Also really well located to get in and out of Frome but super private. A very relaxing few days :)

Fabulous , clean accommodation. Definitely worth booking. Justin was a great host. The recommendations on local attractions were a real plus. Would definitely return!

We had a very lovely stay. Nicola provided a high chair and travel cot to accommodate for our 10 month old baby. The hot tub was lovely and private and the views were stunning.

Rie’s Retreat is magical. I, how the retreat for 10 women here, and it was idyllic. Her home is spacious, beautiful, peaceful and full of space to reflect and connect, including the most beautiful gardens with dozens of different flowers growing. Her space is filled with positive energy, you can feel the healing powers on the land. And Rie is incredible! First, she is so friendly, personable, and fun! She is also so helpful about everything you need, whether it’s recommendations for activities, or transportation or grocery shopping. She is also an incredible chef, and I highly recommend having her cook your meals for you, as she will make you feel so well fed, pampered, and taken care of. Her meals are healthy and delicious! Even her healthy continental breakfast and snacks are amazing! We all loved the space and the beauty. It’s so close to town and to all Glastonbury sites. I will definitely bring groups of women back here, as Rie is now a friend and sister to us all.

The place was even more than the description. Really quiet, wonderful surroundings and we felt like at home. Ryan was amazing. We had a little problem in the house late in the evening, we texted him and less than 5 minutes he was at the place to fix the problem. The house is 3 mins walk to the beach. There is a lot to do around if you enjoy a nice walk. The house is really spacious and clean with perfect natural light. We loved it and we recommend 200%.

You get your own room and bathroom It matches the pictures , it is a very quiet location, rested properly while staying over with Ross I actually checked it quite late at 8:30 pm and it was totally fine for Ross, he is very responsive and helpful It is hard to rest when its not your own bed somehow this place felt like my own bed Its a bargain for the location and what you get I ve given 5 star reviews to previous places out of respect , Ross’s place is underrated So I took the time to express my sincere opinion and will be staying again

Charlotte’s spare room is cosy, stylishly decorated and has everything you need. I love the pretty pom-pom cushions! She has a lovely bathroom and is very friendly and welcoming. I think the room is very good value, very close to pretty Catherine Hill and would always be my first choice for staying in Frome. Thank you for another lovely stay (:

A short notice walking weekend in the New Forest in August meant accommodation was scarce but I found this little gem on Airbnb which turned out to be just 10 minutes from our walking start point in Godsall. After a 14 mile hike on Saturday I was pleased it was just 10 minutes drive to my accommodation and even better that the shower was hot and the kitchen equipped so I could heat up an evening meal. Lovely and peaceful, very pretty spot through the garden. Good internet signal and tv I could watch Netflix and BBCiplayer on, as well as lots of books to read from. The bed was very comfy as well. Unfortunately I didn’t spend long at the cottage as we walked both days but it,s a great spot and good value option for solo travellers.

We were very happy with the venue! It met all of our expectations and suited our needs for a 1 night stay perfectly. The location is ideal with paid parking (very reasonably priced) just across the road and an array of bars and restaurants literally a minute’s walk away. The interior of this bespoke property is fantastic and was perfect for our needs. Thank you Sharon!
