Located on Green Lane, traffic is busy at peak times of the day, however this private studio is perfect for access to the Peak District. There is a kitchen, a spacious bathroom, pull-down double bed (only a small 4 ft double). The flat is best suited for a single person but if you are in a couple and the bed is ok, then this will suit you. The Peak district is just a short car ride away. Restaurants, supermarkets; train station and buses will take you to Sheffield or chesterfield.

The cottage is ideal for couples, business travellers, families with one child and dogs. The village has a great pub with delicious home cooked food and a cosy open fire. Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

Mesne is a pretty stone cottage hidden away at the end of a quiet lane in the picturesque market town of Bakewell in the beautiful Peak District. The cottage is the perfect base from which to explore Bakewell, being only 10 minutes walk to the centre and situated in a peaceful setting with direct access from our garden to the Monsal Trail.
