Cabin vacation rentals in Dellona

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

This location was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back the moment we got there. We actually got to see a black bear and three Cubs right in the yard, but unfortunately we didn’t get to see them again after that there’s also a beautiful area to walk on a trail and see people climbing a rock very nearby! she was super responsive. The hot tub was gorgeous. We have a blow up hot tub ourselves and it works fantastic and it was very clean so is the bathroom. The heated seat toilet was a nice touch. we had anything we needed and the air-conditioning worked great!! I will say definitely don’t eat at the turtle restaurant bar in the area. Service was absolutely horrible. After waiting an hour and a half our food never came and they gave us drink chips which we will never use because why would anyone wanna go back?lol! but that had nothing to do with her. This place was fantastic and they were extremely accommodating. thank you again for a terrific day. We hope to be back soon.

This cabin was perfect for a getaway with my husband. We loved the private location nestled in the woods. The hot tub was great. We also really appreciated the recommendations about a few easy local hikes and sites to see in Montello that made for a fun morning adventure. Everything was as pictured online. The only downside was some lackluster water pressure in the shower, but that was a very minor negative. In the grand scheme of things, this place was a gem!

We loved our stay. From the moment we reserved the Lilikoi to our checkout, Daryl was very attentive and responsive. It blew us away on how peaceful it was there. My girlfriend’s son rode a bike for the first time without training wheels, went kayaking for his first time, and learned archery. There was a lot of wildlife and we spent most of our time around the camp fire and surrounding woods. Dog friendly trails and lodging. Do yourself a favor a book a weekend or a week. You won’t regret it.

The perfect weekend getaway! They set the cabin up with everything you would need to be entertained or find adventures around the area! The cabin was extremely clean, and the property was beautiful! The hosts were responsive to questions! Will definitely be back.

Wonderful setting for a couple’s getaway. It beautifully combines rustic charm with modern comforts; updated appliances, a stylish bathroom, and cozy furnishings throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind, though the stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow, so keep that in mind. We loved soaking in the hot tub, playing board games, and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. One of the highlights was renting kayaks from The Minnow Bucket, which delivered them right to us! We enjoyed paddling and fishing on Lake McGinnis and biking through the peaceful surrounding area.

The place was wonderful, clean, very cozy and private. We were there for a couple of days and it was truly relaxing. The house was well equipped with necessary supplies and it lacked nothing. We used the hot tub, fire pit and the cycles. All were in excellent condition. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

Debra is an amazing host! She’s accommodating, respectful, responsive and very professional. Our stay was more than amazing. The house was perfect and everything that’s included with the home was more than satisfactory! We will definitely book with her again!

We loved our getaway at this sweet cabin. it was the most kid friendly air BNB we have ever stayed at: the perfect blend of serenity and flexibility, toys and games and plastic cups, clear expectations about what is available and what is off limits, lovely decorations and not over the top or breakable, space for kiddos and for grownups. not super sound proof but nothing a white noise machine can't solve. and the best part was the opportunity to explore the woods and trails and the creek! for hours of screen free entertainment. highly recommend!

Everything about the house was above my expectations. Besides its beautiful decorations and design, the home was very clean and inviting. There were many conveniences such as extra towels and bedding, a large variety of cleaning supplies, a washer and dryer, several kitchen items, places to relax both inside and out, and air conditioners that were in different rooms so we could cool each space to our personal preference. I enjoyed the house so much, I honestly didn't want to go. It felt like a home for my family and I.

My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Barbara’s cabin! It was MAGICAL! The property was completely private and peaceful. The most private and peaceful property we have ever visited. The fact that it is located in an area with many Amish neighbors means that there is a peace and quiet as well as harmony in the countryside. We would sit out for our morning coffee on the porch swing and listen to the passing of the horses and carriages. We sat outside all day long every day soaking in the peaceful serenity and the glorious old woods that surrounded us. The best of which was the stunning huge old Oak Tree that graces the front yard. In the morning we would hear the birdsong and the wind in the trees. At nighttime it would grow quiet and last night I heard a Whip-Poor-Will for the first time in my life! Amazing! We bought organic fruit and vegetables at the nearby Amish roadside stand, Busy Bees. The cabin was comfy, cozy& amazingly clean! The windows were spotless! A gem!

This place was great! Perfect for our family. Even in the winter the kids played on the beach and with the horseshoes and ran all over. It was a spot we for sure want to enjoy in the summer too! Very clean. Everything was as it was explained. Host was very responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

The dog and I stayed here for his 8 birthday. We had a great time. We hiked on and off the trails and fields to gain different perspective of the rolling hills. Sherri was very responsive making sure we had enough wood and remain comfortable as the weather drop at night. It was nice listening to the turkey gobbling, coyote yipping and howling in the evening, but the peace maintained a strong presence. Got a lot of reading and art done which is hard to do back in the cities with many distractions. A wonderful stay if you enjoy bird singing, a quiet retreat and awesome sunsets.

Great spacious cabin. Felt like we were in the middle of the woods and loved the sauna. Only downside was that the water heater wasn’t working and had to take cold showers. Otherwise perfect cabin!

So, relaxing, cute, cozy, came home from fishing all day, was so nice just to relax on the couch with fireplace on. Way better than staying at a motel. So glad I treated myself to this place.

Cozy cabin, close to beach and hiking trails, nice stay

We had an amazing stay at the cabin. It was so peaceful and secluded. Loved being able to have our dogs with us on this trip as well. We were able to enjoy a fire on our first night and grilled on the second night. We also kayaked the Kickapoo river which was only a few miles from the cabin. We will definitely be back very soon.

My husband and I wanted a quick little getaway and this was the PERFECT spot. It was secluded but also close enough to downtown to explore when we wanted to. The cabin was cozy and felt like home away from home. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away but also wanting to be close to go out and do things. We will definitely be back.

Everything was as described and shown in the pictures. It was a very nice romantic getaway and tough to leave when it came to check out. Wasn't far from the Dells, (22-24 min) drive. The host was very responsive and helpful to answer my questions.

There is not a single remark that would be remotely negative about Joe and Nadine’s place! If you’re looking to beat near the dells, but have peace and tranquility this is the place you need to stay! This was the perfect place for My family of four to unplug and unwind to start summer off right! Thanks for the amazing stay Joe and Nadine!
