Situated alongside the Mississippi River, wildlife abounds in every season. With eagles nesting nearby, there is always something new to see from the beautiful sunrises, cruise ships passing by, and watching the commerce of the barges and railroad right out the front window! This is a gem of a property - the view of the Mississippi and lock from the terrace is the best in town. The penthouse suite is open and grand. This is our second time staying here, and we love it. Dave was easy to communicate with, helpful and flexible.

Cozy cabin, with a skylight in the loft to Stargaze! Beautiful area out in nature, including a pond. Paula was very friendly & accommodating. She provided alot of little extras to use on the cabin. A nice place to stay to unplug & relax!

Beautiful place and furnishings. Relaxing and peaceful and very roomy. Kids enjoyed fishing off dock and playing ping pong. Disappointed in lack of soap for bathrooms - went into Manchester to purchase. Thankful we followed directions and brought toilet paper as one bathroom barely had anything on the roll. Also very thankful we had someone with a truck during our stay as we had to take our own garbage all the way home. Most of us lacked room in our vehicles for that.

Our stay at the cottage felt like a true retreat from the city. It honestly was more than we expected. The peaceful surroundings were like no other property we’ve stayed in. The home itself is beautifully built, thoughtfully decorated with all the needed modern amenities and spotless. The hosts were also welcoming and kind. We do hope to return!

While I was staying here it was very nice and very clean. The surrounding area was beautiful and always felt safe. The place on the inside was super great very well decorated and very well kept up. So if you like authentic places this is the place for you. If I ever come into town again I will definitely book again.
