Ranch house in a small country town. My House is very simple and clean. Your private room is in a new finished basement that includes a private bathroom. You can relax and enjoy a pool table, ping pong table, speakers to plug your phone into for music. My dog Cooper will greet you and become your best friend for the stay! DeKalb (Northern Illinois University) is just 15 minutes away. The tri-cities (St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia) are just 20 minute away.
What guests are saying:“Eric's basement is spacious, clean, and beautifully remodeled. The bedroom is plenty big. The mattress is firm, lots of blankets. The ceiling fan is perfect. Minimal noise from upstairs. Dogs were friendly and adorable but we are dog lovers. My favorite part was the bathroom. The heated floors were a nice touch along with the shower with jets. The cost of this place was fair and affordable. Allowed us plenty of extra spending money to explore and do multiple activities. Very friendly host and family and they allowed us to come and go as needed. Would love to stay again sometime! Thanks again Eric!”
This cozy house is set in a quiet and safe neighborhood in DeKalb IL, it has plenty of sunlight, comfortable furniture, high speed internet and TV., big back yard, there is a park across the street and trails at walking distance. We are five minutes away from NIU and downtown DeKalb, and also very close to supermarkets, gym, Vietnamese food, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Chipotle, Pizza Hut, Chinese food, among others.

The hosts Sara and Pablo were also very responsive and checked in to make sure everything was good. This is the perfect home if you have a dog! Huge backyard fully-fenced and a large room off the kitchen that is tile, has a door if needed, and a very practical spot to keep the Pup especially if you are going out. Back door to the yard is in the same room too. Comfy bed and very soft sheets, blankets, and pillows. A very relaxing weekend. Thank you Sara and Pablo!”

Only one suggestion for Gwendolyn , the latch in the shared bathroom is not proper , something you can improve for future guests who share the bathroom.
