Monthly Rentals in Dead River Falls

OMG - we LOVED IT HERE and literally started talking about when we were coming back immediately when we left. Melissa and Ryan are super communicative and the directions make a private, secluded place really easy to find. The location is great because you’re 10 mins from Big Bay (smaller town, a few places to eat, moderate cell service) and 20 mins from Marquette (bigger town, better service) and ridiculously close to amazing hikes and nature. But with all the hikes, overlooks, etc so close, all we wanted to do was hang at Melissa and Ryan’s sugar shack. It felt like the best parts of camping, but even better. The site is so secluded, so it’s like camping with no neighboring sites and with a ridiculously cozy, sweet house with big windows, heat, great books and the ability to cook, sleep and relax. We bought some of Ryan’s beautiful ceramics and camp wood and fresh eggs on site. Thank you, Melissa and Ryan, for sharing with us!

Biker Bungalow The perfect place for four bikers to relax and rest their weary bodies! Clean , hot tub, and had coffee! We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended !

Absolutely wonderful spot for our stay in Marquette. House was beautiful and cozy, check in/out was a breeze, the hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, and the property and next-door nature preserve were the perfect place for wandering in the snow. The sauna was also wonderful! We recommend staying here if you’re able!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. It was spotless, well decorated and very comfortable. The home was perfectly located. Claire was also a wonderful hostess.
