Our stay was very nice the home is great absolutely amazing we definitely enjoyed our stay at Julia place..if we ever get to go back soon and it’s still available for us to stay there we will definitely book her house again..highly recommended you to book this Airbnb if you ho to a family vacation or reunion in Elk Grove Sacramento Cali..thank you so much Julia🫶🏼

Great, safe location! Big house with everything we needed for our large family of 7. Comfy beds, and lots of room to spread out and for the kids to play! Sam was an awesome host too! He helped us late night while we were dealing with an issue at another airbnb. He called us right away to connect, went over to the home and turned the heat on for our arrival, let us check out late since we came in so late, really saved the day on the bad experience we were having with another owner, and he was so friendly and helpful! We would definitely stay again and are so thankful to have found such an awesome host!!! AWESOME STAY!!!

Would overall give a 4.5. House is spacious, in a quiet neighborhood, not far from downtown. Showers are good and beds are comfy. Taking down half star because it's a bit sparsely furnished: it has beds for 12, but dining table for 8, living room for 8, outside deck with seating for 6... Even our group of 9 required someone to be always be carrying 1 of the 2 bar stools if we wanted to sit together (made for an uncomfortable meal...). Not sure how 12 would eat there. Other than that, all was great, the host was flexible, the kitchen well equipped and everything was super clean.

The Mills Mansion is a beautiful piece of property, run by great people. Carolin and Rick are so generous to share their huge home. The mansion has a living room, family room and sunroom on the main level which are all super cozy to hang out in and visit with family and friends. Not to mention the garden! Carolin and Rick have an amazing oasis in their backyard, perfect to enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon nap, or pre-dinner cocktail hour. The fantastic kitchen makes your stay super easy. The bedrooms on the second level are just as cute and unique, and well spaced out. Everyone has their own space. The mansion is a great place to stay for a variety of groups. It worked great for my family, which is parents, adult kids and significant others. But I would imagine it would work for groups with younger kids or multi generational, as the yoga room is attached to the lounge with a pull out couch and a half bath, separate for little kids. Carolin and Rick are great at keeping up over text and communicating. They checked in just the right amount, where we were left to enjoy the home but we knew that assistance was there when needed. Highly recommend!

Convenient location. Beautiful landscaping and peaceful outdoor space. Large, open indoor space. Host was kind and willing to accommodate for future needs.

Nice big house. Fully stocked kitchen and espresso machine was nice. The house was clean but a bit worn. All the amenities you need are provided. The hot tub needed to be pre-warmed and can only be used for 3 hours. I’m not sure if that common in California but I’ve never experienced an AirBnB hot tub with restrictions at that price. BUT a lovely experience nonetheless. Very happy with the rental and the host is exceptional.

Looks exactly as pictured and Steve was always nearby if we needed help figuring anything out with the house. It is a very large home with a beautiful view. Used the hot tub and pellet stove almost every night. It was the perfect escape for the holidays with our family. Enough space that family could rest while sharing the home with an infant.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and comfortable, perfect for the long weekend with family. The kids loved the pool and trampoline. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, even thanksgiving dinner. Nice neighborhood, great park within walking distance. Multiple grocery stores, restaraunts, movie theater and other family entertainment nearby. The location felt peaceful but also near many conveniences.

We all had a phenomenal time at my nephew’s wedding in Napa. And Ming’s home was the perfect place to experience our first time in Fairfield. The property was amazing, very spacious and the views were spectacular. We all felt at home and even the chef I hired was impressed with the kitchen/property. The highlight was seeing the deer 🦌 family on the grounds. Only issues I had were….need tv in every room, ice maker and queen bed needs to replace twin beds. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this property.

We loved our stay here! The house is super comfortable--even nice than the photos. The real standout is the pool. It's beautiful and incredibly relaxing. We really enjoyed our weekend here--the house is well-stocked and welcoming, the grill works great, and the pool is lovely. Even though it was hot while we were there, the bedroom ACs & fans cooled the house down at night. The location is great--close to tons of nearby short hikes and river access points. Some friends even drove to the Yuba for the day (about 45 mins), but you can get to some stunning parts of the American River in about 15 minutes. Nearby markets as well! Anna Maria is a wonderful host as well. She communicated lots of useful information with me leading up to our stay and was available throughout, even fixing a hot-water issue immediately while we were there. Such a lovely and kind host :). Her home is adjacent to the property but it still felt like we had a private stay. Highly recommend staying here!
