The Old Bank House: Lough Swilly - Heritage Home

JoshRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
If you’re after a heritage vibe, this is the place for you. Like stepping back in time but with all the modern conveniences. After checking out all 3 floors, we just used the bottom floor for our stay. Easy access to local antiques and food, and Lithgow and Katoomba.

Lake Lyell Tiny Cabin, 4x4 and AWD access only

BethanyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Beautiful cabin in a beautiful secluded spot. I'd love to go back in warmer seasons to enjoy the private beach and fire pit, to explore the bush a bit more, and to sit outside on the deck with a book. Even with the freezing wet weather, it was cosy inside. I really appreciated the quiet and the seclusion. The bath was heavenly. The mattress was a bit too firm, but that is personal taste. And please do heed the listing - the track in definitely needs four wheel drive. This place was an absolute find - thank you Andre for making this place available, and special.

Falls Rest - A Wentworth Falls Hideaway

EllieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I chose this place to stay immediately after seeing the listing and it never once dissapointed. Braving the winter cold has never been more luxurious and we felt like royalty here. We never even had to meet the hosts directly to feel so taken care of 🥰. Heated floors in that breathtaking bathroom and the super comfy bed.. we had an incredible time exploring the adorable town of wentworth falls and surrounds but an even better time coming home after the day was done ❤️ See you next time ✨️

Rural retreat in sustainable house with EV charger

DanielRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay in Little Hartley. The area is easy to get to and still somewhat remote. The surrounding farm houses are at least 100m away and everything was nice and quiet. The bedrooms have good space, the beds are comfy and have an electric blanket, which comes in handy during the colder months. There's plenty of light coming into the house. The kitchen is adequately equipped. If you like to stay in and cook, beware there is only a two surface cooktop and the oven is part of the woodfired stove. That stove takes some time to heat up and bit of attention and fine-tuning to get it going properly. Dominique provided kindling and firewood which we much appreciated. Overall a well needed escape, we relaxed in the house and loved exploring the Blue Mountains from there.

A wood-burning combustion fireplace is framed by ornate wooden detailing, creating a focal point in the cozy lounge. A stack of firewood rests nearby on patterned tiles, providing an inviting setting for warmth and relaxation.
