We had a fantastic stay! The location couldn’t have been better – just a short walk to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. It made exploring the area, super convenient and enjoyable. The place was clean, comfortable and exactly as described.

The place was a perfect stay for our day of golf at Arcadia. Hosts were great and responded quickly with anything we need. Including checking on things we potentially left behind. They could not have been more spot on referring us to Grille 44 for drinks and dinner, walkable if you’re up for it. 10/10 would stay here again!

Fantastic home! We loved everything about this place. Lots of space for our family of six. House was clean, stocked with lots of amenities. Linens, towels, board games, books, kitchen supplies.. We loved the beautiful view, deck, fire pit, dock, paddle board and kayak. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

Host was super quick to responds and sent a ton of info of things to do in the area. A very nice, peaceful time on the lake.

We were impressed by the comfort and welcome of the little red cabin. The hosts were wonderful, amenities plentiful and the cabin was cozy. We very much enjoyed the fire pit and the rocking Adirondack chairs. The outdoor space allowed us to soak up the sun and gain a quiet break from the city life. Easy to drive around this area + we really enjoyed our time spent at the cabin cooking meals and spending time with our dog (it was so amazing that there were bowls there for him). The location was perfect for us. We look forward to returning for another future visit.

Anna’s place was so charming, perfect for a family of three and our beagle. I was so lucky to find this place on short notice, I’m sure it’s usually booked because it’s in a great location. The house was spotless, and exactly as described. Very conveniently located between Arcadia and Frankfort. There’s a great new diner in Arcadia (the MT Plate Diner), plus mainstays like the Mayfair, Lighthouse Cafe, and Storm Cloud Brewery. We also checked out the new distillery, super close to Anna’s house. We love the area and usually visit a few times per year. We’re excited to stay here again.

This was a great place to stay! We loved the location and the fenced in yard made bringing our dogs with us even better. My husband and I had a great time spending New Years playing pool in the basement. The location was so convenient to town but so quiet and private- we loved watching all of the deer outside. Just a small hiccup with check-in, as the key was not where the host had indicated, but it ended up working out after a while.

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

Manistee is home away from home! Lovely place with a great location for beach access & amazing sunsets! Close to town & great little area to take the pups for walks. Bring spices & cooking oils. They only have limited spices as listed. Also, I maybe would bring a couple pans & pots if you plan on cooking more than a basic, simple meal. I love to cook so I usually bring my own knives & pans. Really great stay & I would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Wildwood Lodge! The property is on a barely traveled road and feels secluded (only one neighbor is visible but it does not impede on enjoying any of the hang out areas). The house was really well appointed with amenities (towels, kitchen gadgets/utensils) and was kept very clean. Loved the oversized couch to hang out on and then front porch for morning coffee. The small front fenced in area was perfect for our pups. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing get away! i definitely recommend david and nicole's airbnb if you're looking in this area! they were very precise with location, recommendations, check in/out directions! we loved our stay!

A-Frame of Mind was perfect in every way! It was clean, roomy, beautifully decorated, and cozy! Everything we needed was available and stores were nearby for any items we didn't have. I wish I lived closer, and I would make this an annual visit. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Rustic charm Beautiful scenery…. Can’t say enough about that.. Host were so quick to respond to any questions we had! (Very important) Great fishing spots! Neighbor lake has much bigger fish!! Beds super clean and fresh smelling and comfortable! TVs have lots of channels Pool table was added fun! Everything you needed for a family of 10 to enjoy some tranquility and family fun! Just beautiful! All around:) Go to Landing Zone for bowling! Veteran owned! And we went to Mancino’s (it looked vacant but new owners) great pizza and yummy grinders (homemade bread) that offers gluten free pizza and also has garlic knots!! Only 2 regrets, we didn’t book 2 wks & we really did not prepare for Michigan weather. Haha Bring sweatshirts and pants cuz mornings cold and afternoons warm and evenings cold. Can’t wait to go back!

Autumns place was great! We stayed as a group of 4 adults and each had our own space. There are lots of stairs but we enjoyed the separate living spaces for each of us. Everything was clean, beds were all comfortable and great pillows. Two balconies made sunrise and sunset both gorgeous with the fall trees. We will be back!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you The Ramsey family

We had a great weekend. The cabin is lovely. We hiked at the nearby nature area, fished in the lake & surrounding areas, and explored downtown. We made breakfasts and dinners at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the variety of boats available.

This Airbnb was in a perfect location for my partner and I. Short drive from Ludington and a small nearby coffee shop which we loved. We also loved using the fire pit and enjoying our peaceful night together with our dog. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Cute and comfy cabin! Private and serene location in the woods. Hosts were very responsive and flexible. Rustic feel yet modern comforts. Very nice new bathroom and updated appliances. Nice fenced-in yard surrounded by nature. Very clean. Very minimal to zero cell phone service but nice to escape that.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location - perfect for our family getaway!

This was our second stay at the Blue Kettle Cottage and we are already planning a third! Deirdre is super friendly and communicative, always responding to any questions we may have. The home is very clean, cozy, and has all the amenities including a full kitchen. Less than a 10 minute drive to Empire and the Dunes, and within a half hour to Traverse City, Suttons Bay and Leland. Our favorite part is sitting on the patio just enjoying the peacefulness and nature. Can't wait to return!

Graham’s place was a great find with the perfect location for taking in all that this beautiful area of NW Michigan has to offer. Space was newly updated, clean and inviting. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Communication with hosts was timely and greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

The cabin was serene and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was bigger than it looks in the pictures and there was a lot of outdoor space as well with a large deck and a shared beach area with a fire pit. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and exploring the great local recommendations that Michelle sent us that were personalized to our needs and interests. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was great! One thing about this place though, the neighbors were fairly loud and had a dog barking all night. Other than that it was really clean and had everything needed. Cups, plates, seasonings, sauces, and a blender. Great place to stay for the price! Definitely worth it.
