Mesa Verde cabin

MichelleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The cabin was exactly as described. All of the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for a family of 5. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly be need. The RV park had a pool and 2 hot tubs. My kids enjoyed the pool after a day of hiking. Be careful when pulling into the RV park at night, the entrance isn't lit super great.

Totten Lake Lodge - Dreamy Desert A-Frame

DanielRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The view from this place was absolutely breathtaking!!! And on a clear night, the stars were abundant and bright! Overall this cute place had all the space our two families needed. They opened up the extra bedroom for us downstairs because of our numbers and it was perfect. We didn't end up using the pool table or games, but it was such a cool space to hang!

McElmo Inn with Hot Tub & Pond

MaryRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We visited Cortez for a Dark Sky adventure. In addition to visiting the national park/monuments in the area to see the night sky, we were able to enjoy the stars from the dock by the pond. The house is in a beautiful setting, which is very peaceful. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we asked for information on the area. The office area had lots of great maps and history information, too!

Had a great stay at Nick's place! It snowed the morning before we arrived so the view was picturesque! Nick and the property managers were super helpful in making sure we got in okay and providing local recommendations. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. We hope to get to stay at the property again in the future and would certainly recommend to others visiting the Durango/Mancos area!

Secluded Cozy Cabin in the Forest

PaulRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We initially had a little trouble finding the cabin: the Google map attached took us up the neighbor's driveway. But after fumbling around a little we found it and moved in. (We stayed a week). Everything was as advertised: the kitchen facilities were fine (hot plate, microwave, refrigerator;no stove). The shower worked well, bed was comfortable, good chairs and tables. The single large room was set up well, and didn't feel cramped. No closet or other storage. We enjoyed being in it, and especially enjoyed sitting out in the rocking chairs on the porch. The WIFI was good. Lighting could have been better. Even with numerous lamps spread around, it was still a little dim for reading. The location for us was fabulous- every morning we walked up the dirt road 5 minutes to the Boggy Draw trailhead and walked a different trail before breakfast. We drove out to Hovenweep, to Mesa Verde, and one day made a long loop over Lizard Head Pass. Overall: High quality rustic cabin in the woods.

Serene Dolores Cabin w/ Patio & River Access!

Shelia And BrianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Not sure where to start, but check-in was easy, host was great and responsive (we never had any questions, but appreciate that they checked in with us), the space was immaculate, lots of little “extras”, beautiful scenery (so quite, too), the river view outside the kitchen window was awesome and I loved spending time near river on their provided chairs. There’s something about the sound of rushing water that is very relaxing to me! The little grocery store in town is great, try the homemade pastries by the register, they are delicious, and you have to go to Lost Fox coffee, too. We grilled one evening, and didn’t lack for ANYTHING. Our first kids had a blast, too!

Shade Cabin

DoloresRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The cabin was quiet & well needed, as it rained the day and night I was there. I stayed warm and dry, and there was a small heater inside that was very much appreciated. The campground was nice and the store had everything but prepared coffee, which can be purchased 5 minutes down the road. The campground is right on the Dolores River, and had a walking trail along it and a private "Catch and release" fish pond. There was also a laundry room and game room. Definitely a nice, quiet, quaint place to relax with a friendly staff.
