Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Cooks Hill

Lovely stay, thanks Georgina. We found the apartment to be spotless (and we are fussy!), well equipped with thoughtful touches like a beach bag with towels for use during our stay and an info book with recommendations for eating etc. A very short stroll to beach which was lovely. Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants very close by but it is also quiet with the bedrooms situated at the back of the apartment. Living area is great and the balcony a lovely spot, the plants are a nice touch and makes it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom is small and the only thing I would change would be to add a little more storage space/ places to put things (in bathroom only) but this was easily solved for us by clearing the cupboard under the sink temporarily (ie; moving the hairdryer and spare toilet rolls elsewhere) then using that to store toiletries during our stay. Georgia was very communicative and proactive. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!

Before we arrived, Phillipa was in communication. The location was great, but as the suburb is named the Hill, it was ok walking down the hill to the CBD. Coming home is uphill and quite a challenge. CBD is only minutes away on the bus and we found a bus stop only a 5 minute walk away at the Cathedral and used it frequently for a ride home. Bus #21. There is a timetable at the bus stop. The unit has 2 bedrooms on main level and a study downstairs, which suited us 3 ladies. Plenty of space. The Study has lots of books available to read. Plenty of games in the cupboard with beach towels, spare blankets etc. Bathroom recently renovated and lovely hot water. Beds are very comfy, clean linen with warm quilts. The kitchen contains everything you will need. Phillipa was a great host and was available during our stay to help with anything that was needed. I highly recommend this stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Teressa's place! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach. Teressa was a great host, very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

My mother and I absolutely loved staying here. Inside and out was actually even better than the photos showed. Was a comfortable, tidy, modern, quiet space. Outside with the spa, pool and sauna made us feel like we were in a resort in Bali. Given the chance we will definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Redhead Beach House was fantastic. The house itself was well designed, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We were welcomed with a platter and wine waiting for us and everything was well stocked and easy to find. Great selection of board games, table tennis and arcade game meant there was plenty to do when we were at the house. The area was beautiful and quiet. A great beach over the road - both our 11 year old daughter and our dog loved it! Overall, I would highly recommend. Thank you Natalie and Collin for your hospitality.

Lovely place, conveniently located. Clean and well laid out. Easy to access shops etc in the area.

This is our second time staying here and our family of five love it. It’s clean, facilities work well, has a transitional style and is in a quiet spot. Easy check in and check out. Enough towels, blankets and cleaning supplies etc. Across the street is an unbelievable cafe, and up the road there are some other good spots to sit for a coffee or have a meal.

Sandy is a great host, made everything very easy for us to use, ping pong table and arcade machine was fun, fire place in the backyard made for a chilled space.

Very convenient. Short stroll to the restaurants and bars on Beaumont Street. Car yard is very close, but did not find it obtrusive. Tara was very responsive. Had some challenges getting gas oven up to temperature, but not sure whether that was an issue with the oven or my ineptitude. This place suited our needs well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not a simple issue at all, very clean, well decorated and equipped with everything you need. Location is great also!

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

The place was beautiful the views were stunning too. The place was perfect size for a family, with all the amenities you would need. The house was also spotless and the location was great too, central to everything! It was also easy to check in.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Perfect location for people wanting a scenic but quiet pet friendly holiday, well situated in a tranquil spot with short distance to all the local tourist spots. Saw dolphins metres from the shore right out front. Doggo loved her morning walks on the dog friendly beach. Neighbours were lovely. Highly recommended

Absolutely incredible views! I’ve recommend this place to friends and family, very clean and can not fault it at all. Grant was a pleasure to deal with! definitely would book again 🙂
