There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

The Studio

The Studio is in the centre of one of Wales' most scenic villages at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. It is a self-contained studio with a double bed or 2 singles, dining/sitting areas, kitchen and shower room. The Hand Hotel serves great food, best to book. Well placed for a long weekend of walking, cycling or visiting the Pontcysyllte World Heritage site, Llangollen with its heritage railway, Lake Vernwy, waterfalls and many more wonderful places. An excellent base for exploring North Wales.

A cosy converted semi-detached beamed cottage set within a farmhouse courtyard. The house is surrounded by glorious views of North Wales in a peaceful setting with horses and cows in our paddocks. Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Situated on the river Dee, just 2 minutes walk to Llangollen bridge and all town centre amenities. We are dog & child friendly with a fairy garden, tree house and trampoline. We are set in a private enclosed 1 acre garden on the river bank with fishing rights. There are a variety of seating areas, fire pit and BBQ. You have your own private fully equipped kitchen, plumbed toilet and shower.
