Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Chocolay Township

Ron & Debbie thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to get back in tune with nature, forget the city life, & let go of things that serve us no good. Watching sunrises every morning and seeing wild life in our surroundings was amazing. We got to leave refreshed & feeling so much love. We hate to go but cannot wait until we are back!

Patrick was a great host. He was very responsive and ensured that we had a pleasant stay. His home was very clean and in a nice private location. If you are not accustomed to the beauty of the night sky when there is little light pollution, his home boasts a gorgeous view on clear nights as well.

Beautiful eco-friendly stay. Peace and quiet, just what we needed for the weekend away! Everything was very clean and the check out process was clearly listed in the entryway. The atmosphere was tucked away in the woods, we went in the spring so lots of crickets and frogs humming at night - my kids loved to look in the little pond with flashlights. If you love the outdoors you will love Jenny’s place. PS Fayette state park was so breath taking and a short drive from the location. We made our way to marquette for lunch during the stay as well. Plenty to plan for.

Just a beautiful location! Kyak right out into lake superior, do a little fishing, 30 minutes to miners falls (fantastic), 50 minutes to Chapel falls (stunning hike!), 25 minutes to Marqutte which is just a lovely little town with shops, bakeries (Baby Cakes recommended), and some lovely hiking around Presque Island Park. What more could you ask for? Played a round at NMU golf course (if that's your thing), and it was beautiful. The pool table, dart board, and wet bar were much appreciated on some of the rainy days. And I never thought I would appreciate the sauna, but what a relaxing treat! We even had a family of geese with their little babies in the yard that we got to know over the week. Oh, and Muldoons Pasties in Munising is 100% worth a stop, 10/10! Again, this place was awesome. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay and make some great memories! Just make sure to bring some bug spray, those UP bugs can be something fierce!

Beautiful location with views of Little Bay de Noc. Fenced in backyard is great for dogs and the property is "green" friendly, even had pipes, papers and a grinder. For those that don't care for that smell (like my wife), no worries! She couldn't detect even a faint whiff. Huge driveway if you have your boat or ATVs and a fire pit out back. Definitely recommend if you're visiting the Escanaba area.

roberts place was exactly what we were looking for. the house was roomy, clean, and beds were comfortable. Being a marine, it was kinda cool to get that base housing experience again. we enjoyed staying at Roberts during our work in Gwinn. it was clean and peaceful.

The house was beautiful and had lots of room for multiple people. There are plenty of activities and things to do in the house due to the basement, volleyball court, fire pit, and really nice backyard. Was also very clean and well prepared for our arrival, we had all the supplies we needed for our stay and were very comfortable the entire time. Above all, the bang for your buck is great, as it’s relatively inexpensive and extremely comfortable/luxurious for the amount that we payed. Overall great place, would definitely stay here again!

This place was great! Walking distance to downtown and all the restaurants and shops. Beautiful home with great decor. Wendy was super friendly! Even recommended some things for us to check out while we were there.

Great little spot for a jumping off point for more hiking in the area. Little bar offering pizza and drinks is right next door. Friendly people. Enjoyed the area and the quick stay. Place exceeded cleanliness expectations.

The photos don't do it justice. It's so cosy and cute. I felt at home and relaxed. I loved the touches of red and the U.P.

Just finished our third great stay at the Sunset Lodge Airbnb. A great place to stop off on a longer trip to Minnesota. Very peaceful and relaxing space.

I enjoyed my 5 nights stay at Lois’s place. She is very helpful , welcoming, sincere,understanding and accommodating. I had no regret staying at this home. Everywhere was spotless and tidy. Santa’s Shack is perfect – an early Christmas gift for me! It’s comfy, cozy, clean, and spacious, equipped with everything I needed. Danielle is an exceptional host: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. I had a minor injury, which I mentioned casually, and Danielle went above and beyond by offering a therapeutic device so I wouldn’t have to drive a considerable distance, there and back, to get one. I had a fantastic time and staying at Santa's Shack was part of the amazing experience. Thank you so much for everything, Danielle!

We love the peaceful location, super comfy beds, gorgeous views, and the hosts themselves! We’ve chosen Michelle and Dave’s on several occasions and plan to keep choosing it on our return stays in the area. Highly recommend!!

The Lilly Pad is a perfect place for a single person or couple to stay. It is cozy, has everything one would need, and is in a beautiful location. We loved hearing and seeing all of the birds and turtles, especially the morning and evening visits by a blue heron. The location is also close to Munising and all of the Pictured Rocks locations and activities. Highly recommend!

We stayed in this place years and years ago several times. Back when it was cross-country cottage. There have been many updates since then. Very comfortable. Everything we needed to cook meals with quality cookware. Couldn’t be happier with the service and kindness we received.

It was an amazing cabin, hosts were responsive and stocked with the essentials.

The place was very well appointed and charming. We were impressed on how well stocked the cabin was with sodas, water and coffee. The weather wasnt great, so we ended up spending more time inside than we had planned, but were very comfortable.

Every June, my Dad and I travel to the U.P. for our annual fishing trip. We love staying at the Ford River Cabin! Cindy is a great host. Cabin was clean, cozy, and the perfect place to rest after a long day on the river.

It was a beautiful little place with lots of property for my kids to run around and play. Was able to find lots of rocks (along with a couple yooperlites)

We had a great stay! The cabin was incredibly clean and private. The host was very responsive and friendly. The location was also convenient, close to both the downtown area and the scenic views near Picture Rocks. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Spring Lake house was lovely. The house was immaculate and well stocked with anything we might have needed. The view of the lake from the deck was perfect. We were able to eat outside on the sunny days and enjoy the paddle boat to check out the rest of the lake. So nice to sit by the fire and listen to the birds and enjoy the peaceful lake.
