The Clave - Shipping Container

A wonderful one night stay. So quiet and relaxing. Great weather, doors open overlooking a meadow busy with butterflies, hot bath under the stars. Some chatty sheep to keep us company. I was intrigued to stay in a container. It’s sturdy for sure. Loved every minute. Thank you.

Tiny Home, Big Heart.. Your Little Retreat Awaits

LydiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Danielle was such a great host. I had to change the days we were staying because something important at work came up and she was only too happy to accommodate. We have a large labrador that we took with us and it was great to have somewhere we could take him and not worry. The tiny house was so cute! Beautifully done up, very peaceful, the shower was surprisingly good and hot, the kitchen was well equipped. I'm not a fan of a compost loo and after four days and two people it wasn't the best but Danielle is right in wanting to be more eco and it saves a tremendous amount of water. We walked to the village shop, a beautiful walk through fields and woods. Would deffo recommend the walk and not drive to the shop. The location was good to Cheddar Gorge and other Somerset locations. The house wasn't quite as rural as we thought it would be but it was a peaceful spot and it was nice to know people weren't far away. Thanks for a lovely stay, would deffo recommend 😊

Beautiful Barn in Somerset Village

CecileRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Cook Barn is in a perfect location, so peaceful, yet within walking distance to the village and its shops and pub, and surrounded by wonderful countryside for walks. The décor of Cook Barn is a delight and we loved all the artwork and Moroccan artefacts. Richard was very welcoming and helpful, and provided us with all sorts of useful information about the village and its surrounds. A great place to stay.

Shepherds Hut with a view of the Somerset levels

ChristopherRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We wanted to stay in Draycott to visit family. The Shepherd's Hut was just perfect, Marcia and Mike were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Marcia left cake, croissants, milk etc to get us started which was very welcome. The bed was comfortable and the views of the Somerset Levels were beautiful. Clean bedding and towels, nice shower etc. Great value and experience.

Wren's Nest, studio in wildlife friendly garden

JorjiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow,.. what a stay! Wrens Nest is an absolute gem, beautiful location, quiet and peaceful with all the amenities you could need for a home from home visit, with a personal touch! The effort and thought that have gone into the studio show from the moment you arrive, from the personal parking space to the gorgeous decor and finishing touches- We found it a perfect place for a relaxing get away, unwinding with a bottle of wine and game of scrabble mixed with some adventuring and exploring around the local area. As a host Jackie was absolutely amazing, super helpful and responsive. Full of great recommendations for places to eat and visit- the walk to the top of Nyland Hill just behind the cottage to see the sunset was amazing! Myself and my partner have both said we would 110% return to Wrens Nest again and will recommend to all our friends looking for a quiet/romantic get away! Could not rate Wrens Nest any higher- thank you for a wonderful weekend, 2 nights was not long enough!

Lake View Guest Annex - Cheddar

VictoriaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely place to stay for a few days. Brilliant location within walking distance of the Cheddar Gorge caves, restaurants and shops. We had everything we needed in the accommodation which was private and peaceful. There was a pretty garden to sit in and a very comfy bed and a good shower. Lots of little finishing touches to make the place cosy and welcoming .

Manor House Barn

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed staying at this place. The house is located in the center of Cheddar only a few steps away from the touristy places, but far enough to not stay right in the middle of it. In summer it is really cool to have breakfast in the patio or to walk to the nearby lake. We loved that every dorm has its own bathroom what makes it very suitable for larger groups. The communication with Andy was very uncomplicated and friendly. The only point we had is that the kitchen is only equipped with smaller pans what makes it a bit difficult to cook for 8 persons. Thanks for having us!
