This is a cozy yet totally remodeled home with direct views of the beautiful Shell Rock river. The home is a located 2 blocks from the city park, 1/2 block from the funeral home and 3 blocks from downtown area. This home offers all of the amenities of home.

My spouse and I go away for long weekends and pick our location based on the coolest airbnb we can find, and then don't leave the whole weekend. This was perfect. The couches are super comfy. The two beds have different types of mattresses. (One is memory foam) The kitchen is very nice and efficiently laid out. The best part was the shower. Omg it was the most amazing shower I've ever used in my whole life. It is giant. It does rain, waterfall, multi jets, hand held, and a spigot too. It has the best water pressure of any rain shower head ever. We were there in the winter, so we had a pretty view of the river, but didn't visit it.”
Our home is located 5 mi north of Waverly, Iowa near Wartburg College & approx. 25 minutes north of the Univ. of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. Easy to find just 1.8 mi. From the Ave. Of the Saints/ Hwy 218. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood near woods and Cedar River. Your private suite has a large living room area with WiFi & convenient kitchenette. The scout-themed bedroom has a queen size sleigh bed. Full bath next door. All the necessities are provided along with a big dose of Iowa niceness.

She provided free transportation during all the stay and at anytime; and gave my mother helpful tips. The room is very cozy, private and extremely clean. Everything is well organized. Everyone is welcome to come explore & enjoy this beautifully done building. Natural woodwork along with some very unique decor lend a hand in preserving the style of the original space. Disclosure: Train noise is endearing to some while a nuisance to others. A set of earbuds or plugs might be in order!

Conveniently located in the heart of Charles City and very close to everything I needed - within a mile or two. It has very modern decor and was the perfect little place to call my short-term home.
