Cabin vacation rentals in Castle Rock Lake

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

This location was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back the moment we got there. We actually got to see a black bear and three Cubs right in the yard, but unfortunately we didn’t get to see them again after that there’s also a beautiful area to walk on a trail and see people climbing a rock very nearby! she was super responsive. The hot tub was gorgeous. We have a blow up hot tub ourselves and it works fantastic and it was very clean so is the bathroom. The heated seat toilet was a nice touch. we had anything we needed and the air-conditioning worked great!! I will say definitely don’t eat at the turtle restaurant bar in the area. Service was absolutely horrible. After waiting an hour and a half our food never came and they gave us drink chips which we will never use because why would anyone wanna go back?lol! but that had nothing to do with her. This place was fantastic and they were extremely accommodating. thank you again for a terrific day. We hope to be back soon.

Wonderful setting for a couple’s getaway. It beautifully combines rustic charm with modern comforts; updated appliances, a stylish bathroom, and cozy furnishings throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind, though the stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow, so keep that in mind. We loved soaking in the hot tub, playing board games, and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. One of the highlights was renting kayaks from The Minnow Bucket, which delivered them right to us! We enjoyed paddling and fishing on Lake McGinnis and biking through the peaceful surrounding area.

The place was wonderful, clean, very cozy and private. We were there for a couple of days and it was truly relaxing. The house was well equipped with necessary supplies and it lacked nothing. We used the hot tub, fire pit and the cycles. All were in excellent condition. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

Debra is an amazing host! She’s accommodating, respectful, responsive and very professional. Our stay was more than amazing. The house was perfect and everything that’s included with the home was more than satisfactory! We will definitely book with her again!

So many great things about this house! Karina was very quick to respond with any questions I had before and after I booked our stay. This home was extremely clean and beautiful, you can tell the hosts take very good care of their property from the cleanliness, furnishings and the tasteful home decor. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bedrooms roomy and beds very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean and well supplied with towels. The heated swimming pool was a hit with our family and was also very clean. Since our family has two small grandchildren, it was nice that the pool had a nice safety gate on the deck attached to the pool. There is a large hot tub but we didn't use it. The game room was very large and with the big screen TV a perfect place for the whole family to hang out. Evenings were spent around the fire pit, chairs and a large supply of firewood were provided, they even provided two small chairs for our little grandchildren to sit in. Look forward to coming back!!

The cabin was very well maintained & the hosts provided exceptional customer service. The hosts seem to take their business seriously & go above and beyond expectations to try to make their guests feel at home!

Very happy with our stay! The pictures online don’t do this place justice! Plenty of space to host a large family, inside and outside! The host really thought about all the details to bedding, the amount of towels, outside, inside furniture to even having walking paths with lights. We even ran into an issue with the garbage cans outside filling up sooner then we thought and once I reached out to the host less than an hour he had someone come empty them and bring an extra bin. The stay felt welcoming and safe being in someone else’s home. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends!

We enjoyed our stay, the cabin was just what we were looking for a long weekend away to celebrate Father's Day, a 21st birthday and a retirement celebration. Thank you Tricia for hosting us to your property! I am sure that we will return!

Clean and very comfortable. I loved the large smart TV for watching sports. Beds are comfortable. Outdoor deck and fire pit are awesome. I like to cook-bring your favorite pot/pans/knifes/cutting board. The house is equipped with the basic cooking gear, I got by, but wished I had better cooking equipment. No spices or condiments-bring your own!

it was very nice. the beds were so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of them. I dont know why there isn't a picture of the shower, because it's amazing! beautiful and calm. there isn't a living room area with a couch to watch TV, so be aware of that. it doesn't officially have a kitchen,but it has all of the plug in things to work as one. make sure to bring bug spray, this city has more mosquitoes, than I have ever seen!

We had a marvelous stay at Michelle's cabin. it was cozy, private and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful golf courses at Lake Arrowhead and The Elroy Sparta bike trail. After all that activity, it was just lovely to sit on the deck, enjoying the wine so thoughtfully provided. Then a great night's sleep in the very comfortable beds. We will absolutely be back!!

So, relaxing, cute, cozy, came home from fishing all day, was so nice just to relax on the couch with fireplace on. Way better than staying at a motel. So glad I treated myself to this place.

The cabin was perfect, super cozy and convenient if you are playing golf at Sand Valley. Less than a 5 minute drive to the course. The house had everything you need and was perfect for our trip. Jennifer was also very friendly and easy to communicate with if you need anything.

Everything was great and the cabin is beautiful and well stocked. It is a great place to unwind and reconnect as a family.

Everything was as described and shown in the pictures. It was a very nice romantic getaway and tough to leave when it came to check out. Wasn't far from the Dells, (22-24 min) drive. The host was very responsive and helpful to answer my questions.

Very nice comfortable home. There was plenty of space and all of the daily necessities provided. (We were given advance notice to bring our own towels, which was no problem)

We loved staying here. There are three levels which was a perfect set up for our family. We had cooler weather but we’re still able to fish and use kayaks and paddle boat. The house was equipped with all the amenities and more for our family of 8 which ranged from 7 to 71 years old. The house was clean and nicely decorated. We are definitely going to stay here again! Perfect spot and beautiful location for a fun and relaxing vacation!

My family and I spent a weekend here. The place was absolutely perfect for our family!! We felt right at home. Sandy was responsive and friendly before, during, and after our stay. Elroy and the surrounding area is such a beautiful place as well. Its hard finding a big enough place with good accommodations to host our large family but this place checked ALL of the boxes and then some! The price point and affordability was appreciated as well!!
