Unbeatable Views & Privacy at Blank Slate Farm

MichelleRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This is the second time we have rented from Heather and we would definitely do so again. The view from the deck is stunning. The kitchen is well equipped should one want to prepare meals. The apartment is immaculate! The apartment is quiet and the information sheet provided by the host regarding house rules and information on how to work the coffee maker and tv was extremely thorough. Any questions were answered promptly and courteously. We look forward to renting from Heather again.

Cute place. Perfect for our family of 4. Close to hiking and short walk to lake. The wifi was spotty but otherwise it was great.

Spring into Summer at Turtle Lane Cottage

JonathanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My kids and I had a lovely time at Greg's place. It was very clean and comfortable, and plenty of space for cooking, eating, and lounging. We also enjoyed a turtle wandering through the yard. Only suggestion is to bring tissues and shampoo etc. for the shower - we had everything else we needed. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would definitely return!

Cozy In Law Suite Fully Equipped

AimeeRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a very relaxing stay at Carl & Rose's place. It was a very cozy space on a rainy fall weekend. Lots of fleece blankets, pillows and tea made us feel warm and welcome. The oversized reclining couch and 4-poster bed were super comfy. The height of the bed was a bit intimidating at first but quite luxurious once you sink into the soft supportive mattress. Great home base for exploring the beautiful scenery of Maine and nearby NH, especially with the leaves in full color.

Panther Pond Place

Our stay at Jordan’s beautiful place was wonderful. The house is exactly as pictured. The one addition is that along with the kayaks, there are also two paddle boards and a couple of pool noodles. We enjoyed everything from the spacious rooms to the fire pit outside (for s’mores) to the cozy indoor gar fireplace. We had a few questions and a concern during our stay and Jordan was very responsive and hospitable. He even came by to ensure everything was ok. Lastly, the neighbors are incredibly friendly and the neighborhood/lake is quiet and peaceful. Plus it’s about 45 minutes to Freeport (for great shopping) and Portland (for delicious meals). Whether you’re looking for a quick getaway or a longer stay, Jordan’s place is perfect for both couples and families.
The exterior showcases a sloped roof with weathered wooden shingles, complemented by large glass doors that lead onto a dark wooden deck. Two chairs are positioned near the entrance, and large windows allow natural light to enter the space.

The Retreat at Crystal Lake Farm

AmieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Jonathan was very communicative and a great host. Depending on needs I would stay here again. We were there for a graduation at Bates College. I would recommend this place for fall stays, hikes or visiting the near by lake. It's kind of far from Bates and Portland to make it super convenient to visit those places. Overall it was a very good value and Jonathan was a fantastic host, oh and the place was clean.

Charming Cabin Tucked in the Woods

KelleyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Mark and Cate's cabin and it was great that we were able to bring our dog. The cabin is easy to get to and offers plenty of privacy where we enjoyed camp fires a couple nights during the week. The bed was comfortable, great water pressure in the shower and the house was stocked with everything you need, even a telescope to catch some stars. We cooked almost every night in the kitchen or on the grill, but also ordered some food from SKK which we highly recommend and pick up some lobsters from Stoney Brook Lobster Pound 10/10. There are plenty of farm stands close by to pick up fresh eggs and meat. We used Phillip View Farm and made a couple short trips to a Hannafords for some other essentials. Kennebunk and Portland are just about a hours drive if you want to venture out and Lake Sebago is only 15 mins. The trail near the house is super close or you can take a short drive up the road to Bald Pate. All around recommend staying here and getting outside.

We had a wonderful long weekend. The house was very nice, beds were very comfortable, & everything was clean. Quick walk down to the lake and very close to local shops/restaurants. Diana was very responsive before and during the trip. We especially loved the screened in porch. Would book again
