Beachfront vacation rentals in Casco

It was wonderful to be hosted by Mike and Johanna. As seasoned hosts, they had anticipated every one of our needs and potential questions about our stay and gave us detailed information. They responded to my queries patiently and promptly. This is our seventh year visiting Conway but only our second time at an Airbnb here. This is definitely the best way to experience a week-long stay at Conway. I particularly appreciated the workout equipment because of which I was able to keep up with my Pilates classes online. The kids (5 & 3) had a blast exploring the place. There were so many kids toys that we didn’t have any use for the ones we brought along. But do bring max strength mosquito repellent!!

They were accommodating, flexible, and very gracious. They had an entire binder of information with details about where to find fans, towels, flashlights, how to work the shower, heat, grill, and about anything else you can think of. It also had emergency services, restaurants, places to have a good time, and good details about checkout expectations. Overall we were extremely happy with the property and our stay, and were honored by the personalization they did for us specifically as it was our Honeymoon and they wrote us a custom note by hand for when we arrived. Highly Recommended - Will Rent Again!

Tammy describes her sweet cottage perfectly. Water views are spectacular with options to fish off the dock, sit in the backyard to warm up or sit on the bluff to cool off. It was perfect for this girl and her dog to re-set in solitude. Most places on the water have sensitive septic as described so you want to consider that if there are more than two guests. I enjoyed my endless walks on Popham beach (no dogs 4/1-10/1)) and was thrilled to be there in the off season. I barely saw anyone! Reid State Park was also spectacular and more opportunity to walk my dog on the trails. Tick season is a bit of an adjustment every year but not a problem if you prepare yourself and your furry friends. A perfect place for a great book, wandering around historic Bath, and easy meal prep. I stayed 2 weeks and appreciated all the thought Tammy put into anticipating what a traveler might need.

We would definitely go back for another stay. Carl is a wonderful host and was very responsive and helpful. The house is beautiful and is located in such a tranquil and scenic location. We are a family of 6 along with our black lab and everyone fit comfortably. I highly recommend this place for a family get away.

We had a great extended long weekend stay at Karen’s!! The place was warm & inviting- perfect for a colder than anticipated Memorial Day Weekend — we took advantage of the pellet stove and were still able to take in awesome lake views from the comfort of the living room. Our young girls had a blast “swimming” in the large jacuzzi bath tub and playing/ sleeping on the bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. We did manage to get out on our boat which was easy to dock at the slip associated with the rental. No fish caught this time around but still fun trying. The location of Karen’s place is awesome- very close/ walking distance to tasty restaurants & public boat launch. We cooked most of our own meals & were grateful for the well stocked kitchen as well as having a grocery store less than 5 min away. Karen was a fantastic host with quick response times from time of booking & then following checkout ensuring that our stay was as seamless as possible. We hope to return in the future! 😊

The house was clean and well maintained. The view was gorgeous, too bad Mother Nature didn’t cooperate. It was cold and rainy. Used the fire pit nightly and it was nice. Linens were clean, towels were soft and fluffy and smelled freshly laundered. Kitchen was spotless and well stocked with pot/pans and dishes. Having a dishwasher was nice too. Two grocery stores (Hannaford and Market Basket) were close by and plenty of restaurants too. We came with the intention of doing nothing and just changing scenery for the weekend. This place was perfect.

Darryl is extremely responsive and helpful! His place was perfect for a weekend getaway for me, my sister, and our dog. For anyone traveling with dogs, would definitely recommend! We had no problem with ticks and she loved running in and out of the water and walking in the neighborhood, and decent shade outdoors in the afternoon.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and set in a beautiful location. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was friendly and easy throughout our trip. The nearby outlets were just a short drive away, and the river view was both stunning and incredibly peaceful. The landscaping was beautifully maintained, and the outdoor amenities really made the space feel special. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it! Great and relaxing location, close to local amenities. Perfect for small groups, Hillary was awesome to rent from.

Our stay at the beach house was great! You couldn't be closer to the water! So much fun kayaking, floating and swimming in the lake! House is much better than the pictures do it justice. For a 2 bedroom house its very big and spacious, beds were extremely comfortable. The no wifi was a little bit of a downer but there were plenty of board games to play. There is some street noise but not bad at all. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for waterfront property. The access to the resort pool was a plus too for the kiddos!

A great spot tucked away!! House was cute and as shown in the pictures, is right on the water and has some great views! It rained the majority of the time we were there so didn’t get to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities, but would have if better weather! Host was very friendly, communicative and responsive!

We had a great stay at Jessica’s condo. Clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything the area has to offer. Everything as described and communication of details was helpful and appreciated. Thank you!

A really tidy and comfortable apartment. Felt right at home, would have been a tight fit for a group of 3+. I liked the location away from any busy roads. I visited in the winter and luckily have a 4-wheel drive truck, otherwise getting into the parking lot would have been impossible most days because of snow and the steep slope. Also be mindful of narrow staircase to get to apartment. Overall really enjoyed my stay, but some people could some accessibility issues.

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

The house is beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. From inside the house, you get a beautiful view of the lake and then the porch is amazing. You can kayak, use the paddle board or use the canoe. You can also sit by the lake and enjoy the campfire. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The host is very responsive, solved all our doubts and was flexible with us during check-in and check-out, which we appreciated very much. At check-in, we were greeted by a great bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a great touch. The house also has a ping pong table, books to read and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this property :)

It was wonderful..room was good.. perfect size..we had everything we needed .. everything is near by. Location is great .back yard view was nice. We would go back

Took a family trip to see Maine during fall…this lake cabin is a bucket list dream. We enjoyed using the fire pit and also had a blast using the peddle boat on the lake. The fall foilage in October is perfect and staying in Patricia’s cabin is what dreams are made of. Thank you so much for an amazing stay. =)

We loved staying at Becky's place. It was spacious with everything we needed. The lake and playground space directly behind the Airbnb was such a nice feature!

We went road tripping with our cats and looked for a pet friendly location. Kate’s place had an enclosed patio which is why we chose it. It’s a little hard to find due to Google Map’s strange bug, but Kate’s instruction actually had the precise turn needed to get in. Apple Map worked just fine for all subsequent navigations. Otherwise, the cottage was exactly as described and everything was stated on the listing. It was clean, and a comfortable stay with all of the amenities we needed. Kate even included a couple of snacks, which was super appreciated. The private access to Sebago Lake was amazing, and they pulled out kayaks for us to use (thank you!) Kate is extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. There’s also a website they had with their information and a printed version in the cottage. Would definitely recommend, great cottage and host.

Jeffrey’s place was perfect for our family. The home is peacefully secluded in the woods. It was immaculate and set up with everything we needed, including a welcome bottle of wine and a bag of local coffee! We really appreciated the baby gear too, a pack and play and high chair. We would absolutely love to stay again!

I had an absolutely magical stay at Camp Moonbud. It was just me but I could have fit the family. For starters, it’s on a beautiful lake. The house is cozy and lovingly decorated, high-end linens, well stocked kitchen, and spotlessly clean. They didn’t miss a thing. I was the last visitor of the season and the chill was setting in, mist coming up off the lake in the mornings, and the most beautiful evening sunsets. I can imagine what a joy it must be to be here in the height of summer. The camp is located near to great hiking (I hiked), good food (I ate), and not far from Midcoast or Portland. The proprietors – Amy and Dana - are unmatched. They are responsive and warm and engaged Mainers; they picked up a grocery order for me because I was getting in late the first night, left treats for my morning breakfast, and even invited me to join their Sunday morning running gang! Huge bonus. Left Readfield with a couple of new friends! Highly recommend this gem.

We had a great week in the woods at the Riverbend Cabin. We happened to be there right at the start of a spring thaw and the river and yard went from snow-covered to completely unfrozen in two days, so we got to see it change dramatically. Our dogs absolutely loved running around the property and going in the water. The bedrooms were cozy for myself and my teens. We had everything we needed to cook, watch movies, play games and relax on our spring break. Although there wasn't very much to do in town itself, we were happy to wander a few days. We found an Escape Room in South Portland, had a great dinner and went to a show in Portland one night, and highly recommend Hiking with Goats in Gray, ME. Overall, it was just what we needed for an escape from work and school for the week. We would definitely stay again!
