Vacation rentals with beach access in Cardiff

Lovely spacious annex with fantastic view of the Severn estuary. David was very friendly and took measures to make sure we had everything we needed. Property was well appointed, clean and perfect for our needs. Would be happy to return.

We had a really lovely stay in this great place. Really enjoyed the balcony and the wonderful views. and all the extra bits left for us in the kitchen. Only downside was that the shower is over a bath, which was difficult for my husband to get into with bad knees.

Great stay. First things first: the views are stunning. The flat is bigger than I expected and is perfect for a family of 4. The flat is well equipped and with all you need for your stay like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, soap, even some toiletries and kitchen supplies like cling film etc (big thank you for that!) which means you can arrive with just your suitcase. Only missing thing is a dishwasher but we weren’t cooking complex meals. Parking in the street is fine but you might have to tour neighbouring streets for a spot. Over all we had a great time and would highly recommend the place.

Fantastic communication from the outset, so important when I am travelling solo as I felt safe and right at home. Great little inventive flat making the most of the space and a fantastic location in Weston near the seafront and all amenities whilst being quiet and feeling private. I hope to be back soon!

Highly recommend staying at Lyn's Coastal Treasures The bed is so comfortable it's like sleeping on a cloud. Plenty of hot water for showering. Close to the beach and restaurants. Narrow roads are interesting. We were spoilt with a hamper of Welsh cakes and loaf of bread. Information booklets were very helpful.

What a wonderful place to spend a week. The view from the flat was tremendous and the walls to the shore and surrounding area was top notch. Janet was very responsive with all of my questions. Will certainly consider staying at Crow’s Nest again if I’m visiting Barry in the future. Overall highly recommend!

This Airbnb was fabulous! It was a great location, easy to get to, lovely and super comfortable. The place was very clean and well set up. It had all the amenities needed and was very cosy! We very much enjoyed our stay! And would recommend staying.

A perfect short-stay getaway with dreamy views across the water. The lounge and bedroom overlook the sea making it the perfect place to wake with coffee and watch the sunrise. The flat is well equipped. We cooked amazing local produce from the excellent butcher and greengrocer during our stay. The shower was a great way to relax after a long day exploring Penarth and the surrounding area. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk into the town centre through a beautiful and peaceful park and Cardiff is a short train, bus or taxi ride away! Initially we were concerned that the flat might smell of fish and chips because of the takeaway below, but it doesn't. We can heartily recommend them - especially if you have food allergies and they also cater for vegans. Similarly the ice cream parlour on the pier were able to cater for celiacs and vegans. The customer service team were highly responsive. We would love to stay again if we attend events in the local area. BeachCliff is amazing

We had a fabulous time. The house was magnificent. Plenty of room and beautifully decorated. Our host, Anna, was very helpful sending me a comprehensive list of things to do, where to eat etc. Even suggesting things to do with my 6 year old grandson. We will definitely be going back. Thanks Anna.

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay the might before my wedding. Both lodges were beautiful and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Location is beautiful and Ginetta is a WONDERFUL host. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a perfect stay. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be dissapointed xxxx

We loved our stay in this very cosy and peaceful house! The beach nearby is super close and the kids enjoyed looking out for fossils and playing in the tar and the waves. We appreciated all the recommendations given by Bronwen in the house files. The house is lovely, very well decorated and cosy. And to quote my son as he entered the bathroom "wow, this is very clean!". Thanks again 😊

We had a lovely stay here and hope to come back again next year. The location is perfect, you can easily walk over to the island or further around the coast and have Asda just on the doorstep. You're also only a short drive from a whole lot of other attractions and walks, or visiting Cardiff. The train station is also just around the corner if you don't want to drive! The house itself is well equipped and feels comfortable for a family stay. They provided a stair gate and other equipment for our toddler which was a massive help. You are next to a road, but the back bedroom is nice and quiet and you don't really hear much with the windows shut at the front. The garden is a nice size and we enjoyed sitting out there of an evening. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay in Sandra's house. It's a lovely house, recently refurbished throughout, with attractive decor, well-equipped kitchen and lovely modern bathrooms. The beds and pillows were all very clean and comfortable (absolutely no lumpy bits, which we've often encountered in other houses we've stayed in!) and there is a nice outdoor seating area. The only downside we found was the rather small living room/seating area, which wasn't quite large enough for us all (3 adults and 2 children) to sit in comfortably at the same time.

Sallie is a very responsive and friendly host. House is in a handy, walkable location to all Penarth amenities. Good restaurants, pubs and easy walk to barrage or beach. 4 bedrooms so plenty of room.

Lovely home for our large family get together. When asked questions Elisha was very quick to respond and even recommended some lovely restaurants. We loved Penarth it’s such a lovely place to stay. We could stroll for about 20 minutes to the pier and various restaurants from the house. Also easy access into the city by train.

What an stunning place to stay with incredible views. The Couch House had everything I needed for my 10 day stay and was comfortable in every way. It's easy to access different areas of the coast and only 20 minutes from Bristol but the best bit was sitting on the patio with my book just listening to the birds. I would throughly recommend Mike and Ginny's place. They are excellent hosts who have fantastic knowledge of the North Somerset area which they're happy to share. Hopefully, I'll get back there one day.

Beautiful decor, full of character & a brilliant location to local restaurants. Stayed for the bank holiday weekend, which 7 of us fitted comfortably with everything you needed incl WiFi, coffee machine etc. Brilliant communication throughout & very generous gift hamper on arrival. Mark the host very helpful and Sue friendly and full of local info. Got to say after using AB&B for a few years this is one of the most attractive and comfortable we have stayed at. We spent a few days cycling and relaxing, local bus service conveniently available adjacent to the apartment. Local pubs a bit of a walk but food and drinks available at both. Look forward to staying again.

This was the perfect place for our family to come back to each evening to relax. It was clean, cozy, and Lucy had all the accommodations we could’ve asked for. She was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay, and even had a helpful guide in the home. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

I stayed with Mike and Bert for two weeks while a house sale went through, I brought with me my high maintenance Bengal cat Kevin Bacon. During our stay Mike has gone out of his way to accommodate us, the accommodation is completely separate and lockable, I felt completely safe, I knew Kevin was secure and didn’t see any red flags. Mike is laid back and approachable, the perfect host. The bed is extremely comfortable and everything I have needed has been included with no extra costs or limitations. Bert is a very good boy and has been trained properly, he doesn’t go upstairs but he will bring you a shoe each time he sees you as a greeting, Bert was completely safe around Kevin when I took Kevin in the garden. There is easy parking at the accommodation and lots to do in the area, lots of walks, castles, stepping stones over rivers, sand dunes, beaches, horse riding and a decent selection of Pubs. If I ever end up homeless again I will be coming back! Thank you.

This was the first time we used Airbnb so didn’t know what to expect, however we shouldn’t have worried as the whole process was very easy. We loved staying at Toms apartment. The location is fantastic. I liked to get up early and with a cup of tea and look out of the bay window to the sea and beach it was wonderful. The apartment was very clean and had all the things required for a nice stay. I only had to contact Tom once as I had made a small mistake on booking form and had a response with a few minutes. Parking was easy and seemed safe enough. Many fantastic walks close by.

Had a lovely stay in Weston-super-Mare! The location was excellent – just a short walk to the beach and really close to shops and restaurants. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

We had a fab stay. The apartment was perfect for two adults and two teenagers. The kitchen was small but had what we needed and the spacious lounge was great for relaxing. Beds were super comfy and the two bathrooms were clean and perfectly equipped. Would definitely stay again next year.

We had a fantastic stay at this property. It was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable, the shower was amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the extra touches such as the Prosecco, the Welsh cakes and the jam; we enjoyed them on the sunny terrace so thank you for that. The location was spot on for what we needed. We had a great trip to Barry Island and a lovely walk from Penarth Marina across the barrage to Cardiff bay. Dave and Bev responded to any questions we had and it was lovely to meet Dave when he popped over on Saturday morning to check we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!
