Monthly Rentals in Broadoak

Alan and I had a fantastic stay this week at the Annexe. Carol and Derek were so friendly and helpful and were so welcoming; they couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. We felt at home straight away in a perfect space for us and our 2 small dogs. We had a relaxing and peaceful few days which was just what we needed and even had a magical experience where the cows and sheep in the field came right up to the fence to say hello one evening which made the perfect photos for our memories. We totally recommend this location if you are looking for a peaceful break. The annexe was spotlessly clean and had everything needed for the perfect stay with lots of extra items which really did make the difference such as: dog blankets, towels, bowls and treats. Bathroom towels, cleaning products and loo roll. Tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk and of course those yummy fresh eggs. Carol and Derek thank you so much for an amazing stay- we will definitely be back. 😊

We would 100% recommend Camilla's lovely cottage. On arrival there was milk eggs and cookies awaiting us. The cottage was spotlessly clean and charmingly decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was in a very peaceful neck of the woods, with so much to do in the area, be it countryside or coast. We soon discovered the Symondsbury Estate, which is close and wonderful for walks, coffee, food and the arts. Had a lovely meal in the Anchor at Seatown. All in all, we had a fabulous day and are very likely to return. Thanks Camilla for being a great host.

Where to begin? A small piece of paradise I think comes close! Eddie and Becks were super hosts, warm, welcoming and full of great advice and recommendations. The farm is in an idyllic location, yet only a couple of miles from the sea. Peaceful, quiet and the best place to unwind and explore. The cricket pavilion is a charming , rustic and well equipped bolthole for a couple or small family to enjoy. Dennis the Cockerpoo had the time of his life exploring and playing with his toys in the garden. The local pubs are great and the local beaches are excellent. We had a special dinner in the Ilchester Arms in neighbouring Symondsbury and hours of countryside walks in the hills surrounding. The local farm shop is an absolute gem of a place. The best of Dorset is a short drive in the car away. There is so much more I could add and we are definitely looking to return there for more Dorset heaven. We had a lovely stay with my family for my birthday. We absolutely loved the hot tub with the countryside view. It’s near Lyme Regis and West Bay, but need a car to get around. Kitchen is well-equipped we cooked our breakfast and had a bbq. We could hear the cows, but it didn’t bother us. Loads of instructions to do in the cabin but they’re ok and doable. Host is responsive and very friendly. Thank you for the welcome apple drink and biscuits!
