I was very happy with this AirBnB. It was very roomy, relaxing, and beautiful. Ann made it very clear on how to check in and out. Also, she provided great local hikes. The interior is very clean and homely. What amazed me the most was the nature. I have never seen so much wildlife in the front of the house, and I was glad to witness different species of animals in my stay. This place exceeded my expectations. If you enjoy connecting with animals, nature, and the quiet, stay here.

Beautiful home! The surroundings are gorgeous. The home was very clean. We were able to walk around in our socks and they stayed white! No dust or grime. The rules and instructions are clear and easy to understand. We found the home to be perfectly located and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Cara's space and would definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking to stay in a central location close to everything and enjoys the space of an air bnb. The directions to the space were a bit confusing at first having not been in Julian, the address on the site stopped around the corner and so I happened to just conveniently pull off to the street that it was to stop and look at the map explaining the parking, to which we looked up and saw the restaurant and realized it was the space attached to it. Cara's a really responsive host and was incredibly sweet. The home was clean, she even did a check before we entered to verify which I was grateful for. There is a lot of space so I felt incredibly comfortable. The home is old and has some corky things like and uneven floor but it made the experience a memorable one because my fiance and I laughed about the suitcases rolling around. You will enjoy the stay! We will be back again!

I had a wonderful stay at Adele’s property in Julian! It was incredibly peaceful and quiet- perfect for a relaxing escape from the city. One of the highlights was the night sky; being in a dark sky community made for some truly breathtaking stargazing.

Highly recommend this beautiful place! From the moment you arrive at this cozy house, you will feel at home. Roger was wonderful in communicating and providing all the needed instructions, and messaging during our stay to ensure we had all we needed. The house is very well equipped with everything to make this a memorable experience. Even our two dogs immediately felt at home. Thank you again Roger and Kari for sharing your amazing Julian Sky!

This was literally the nicest Air B&B property we've ever stayed in. It was a true home, not just a house. It was impeccably decorated, warm and inviting to stay in. Lots of books, games, and a beautiful view of the mountains from a wonderful patio. Yet it was just under an 8 minute walk to town. To quote Jack Johnson, "We felt so far away, but we were still in town". It was the perfect mix. More importantly, James was exceptionally responsive when we had a few questions. We never waited more than 10 minutes to get a response when we reached out. If you're looking to stay in Julian, don't bother searching for any more properties, just book this one.

We had a wonderful stay at the farm! There was plenty of room for the whole family, and we enjoyed spending time with the animals. We would definitely stay here again!

Read all the fine print because I would say this is the most well thought out Air BnB we have ever stayed in- so pack less. Laura clearly knows hospitality because she went above and beyond with consideration to comfort & amenities. We knew her space was pet friendly, however, we have pet allergies & we had ZERO issues because her house is clean & has an air filter fan. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials -plus, Tupperware, spices, foil, ziplocks, etc… which made preparing meals at the house so easy. Sheets & linens are soft & comfortable- everyone in our family commented on them. Our absolute favorite part of the house is the patio. From sunrise to sunset it is beautiful, shaded from the brutal afternoon heat & has comfortable furniture. Our family members would join us everyday for coffee, happy hour or star gazing because “we had the best patio”. An Ice maker, water filter, WiFi, & pool towels were really appreciated as well. We will absolutely return. Thank you!

Great home and location for us. Place had everything we needed and more. Alyson was responsive to any questions or messages. We had a great time and would definitely like to visit again.

Host was very responsive, and property was equipped with everything needed; very well managed. Overall, the stay was great. Positives: - Game room was fun in the evenings. - Pool and backyard were fun during the day. - Enough table & settings to seat 16+ people for meals. - Fun 1950’s Palm Springs style decor. - Rooms were comfortable. - Kids had fun. Considerations: - Jacuzzi water was a bit murky. - Pool table is usable, but not great shape. - The house needs a 2nd full-size fridge. Negatives: - Paid extra for pool heating but it didn’t get warm until day 2. This almost cost them a star, but the host made up for it by granting a request we made on the last day of our stay. The stay was slightly overpriced, but it is one of few properties in the area that can handle a large group. Despite the few negatives, overall the stay fit our needs and the trip was a success.

This was our second time staying at Dan’s place, which was just as pleasant as the first. The home is quaint and located in a quiet, scenic neighborhood. It’s a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and especially perfect if you want to spend your time relaxing by the poolside.

We had the best time staying at Dawn’s home. The airbnb was one of the cleanest and well decorated I have seen. The property was beautiful and so peaceful. It was in a convenient location to go to restaurants and local wineries. We would love to stay again!

We loved the campsite location with how secluded but close to town it was for any needs or meals we didn’t feel like prepping. The view was GORGEOUS. Outhouse setup was very odor free (like magic). Donny was super responsive & flexible with any questions we had, and left treats for our pups. All in all it was a great camping experience, and we highly recommend.

Home on Ram's Hill with a gorgeous view of the golf course and the Santa Rosa mountains beyond, as well as Indian Head.

Booked Jenny's place for an entire month. Throughout the process, Jenny kept in good communication with us informing us of things relevant to our stay. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen to prepare our own meals. The back patio has a wonderful view of the golf course and makes for a lovely setting to watch the sunrise. The pool table provided hours of entertainment along with the activities available within the community, including the pool and hot tub. Everyone who came enjoyed the accommodations and the stunning beauty of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Would definitely stay again!

This was our second time at Twin Oaks, bringing our kids along this time, and it was another amazing visit. From the parking right by the kitchen door it’s easy to unload our van and settle in for 3 nights. Two slept soundly in the loft area and the other was on a bed in the sun room. We enjoyed the firm king bed and slept well to! There are no blinds in living room so the view was spectacular though it did mean the kids woke up early. The house was clean and comfortable and easily cooked every meal in the well equipped kitchen. Sandrine is a great host, we have really enjoyed staying with her!

Amazing stay! The hosts were lovely people. The animals on site were beautiful (and obviously so loved/cared for). The barn was a great place to unwind and disconnect from the all of life's distractions. It was clean and super cozy. I would 100% recommend it and we hope to go back some day. We had the most incredible stay for my laid-back Bachelorette weekend! The home was exactly as described - a peaceful mountain getaway with stunning views from every window. It felt secluded, yet was just minutes from downtown Julian. The house was spacious and cozy, with super comfy beds and an amazing hot tub that we all loved. We saw tons of wildlife (including a bold raccoon who stole my mom’s flip flops!) and felt completely relaxed the whole time. David and Lisa were outstanding hosts. They left snacks and water, stocked the bathrooms with thoughtful extras like toothbrushes and toothpaste, and were so communicative before, during, and after our stay. The video directions made getting there easy, and they truly made us feel at home. My group is already talking about coming back. I can’t recommend this place (or these hosts!) highly enough. Thank you, David and Lisa, for helping make such a special weekend even more memorable!

What a find! Reese's place was so well organized, spic and span clean and a great location. You are entering a new home with every luxury comfort at your fingertips. A perfectly decorated home, that is well stocked and ready for you to enjoy. Being pet friendly, the gym and the Tesla charger were an added benefit. If you are looking for the best stay in Julian, you have found the right spot. As a high maintenance, very picky individual, I would gladly give this place 10 stars. Reese thank you so much for providing a wonderful home. I'll be back!

Shambala consists of a beautiful, comfortable house and breathtaking grounds. Many lovely places , inside and out, to sit and talk or read or just gaze at the panoramic view. A dazzling pool. Excellent birdwatching. A truly well-equipped kitchen. A fireplace with ample wood. You can't help but relax and unwind. Truly, a heavenly spot. Jill couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful into her dream home. Unfortunately, we hadn't understood the bedroom-to-bathroom situation when we booked. Only the master bedroom has its own bath. For bedroom#2, the bathroom is downstairs. With bedroom #3, the "attic" bedroom, it's two flights of stairs, one of them outside and quite steep, to a bathroom. For three older couples, this was not ideal. We still had a marvelous time.. .
