Gorgeous home, we loved the view. We didn't get to try the pool because it wasn't heated and too cold to get into; but the backyard was large and beautiful and peaceful with lots of comfortable seating. We had a great stay and the beautiful home surpassed our expectations.

Loved our stay at Rams Hill. Great sunsets and relaxing time watching players on the course throughout the day. Walks were beautiful in the morning and early evening. Restaurant at Rams hill and in town were great, and easy to prepare meals in the well laid out kitchen. Well stocked and private accommodations, Rex anticipated most everything, and was quick to respond to any request with clear communication. We would love to stay there again!

Great home and location for us. Place had everything we needed and more. Alyson was responsive to any questions or messages. We had a great time and would definitely like to visit again.

The Dell is beautiful and private. James was professional and easy to work with. There are loads of amenities: big screen TVs, robes, and makeup mirrors in every room. There are comfortable indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool and hottub were clean and there were plenty of towels. The Dell is surrounded by wildlife, we had rabbits, quail and roadrunners visiting. There was even a blood orange tree that provided some fruit for breakfast. The Dell had some homey features such as plenty of blankets and an impressive collection of Fiesta Ware. This place is perfect for a houseparty with a family or four couples.

Host was very responsive, and property was equipped with everything needed; very well managed. Overall, the stay was great. Positives: - Game room was fun in the evenings. - Pool and backyard were fun during the day. - Enough table & settings to seat 16+ people for meals. - Fun 1950’s Palm Springs style decor. - Rooms were comfortable. - Kids had fun. Considerations: - Jacuzzi water was a bit murky. - Pool table is usable, but not great shape. - The house needs a 2nd full-size fridge. Negatives: - Paid extra for pool heating but it didn’t get warm until day 2. This almost cost them a star, but the host made up for it by granting a request we made on the last day of our stay. The stay was slightly overpriced, but it is one of few properties in the area that can handle a large group. Despite the few negatives, overall the stay fit our needs and the trip was a success.

Fantastic rental! The home was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Nice working kitchen, good furniture, clean and functional bathrooms, good quality linens and lots of little extras. I really appreciated the House Guide book that clearly laid out all the rules/policies for the rental as well as so many points of interest in the area.

This was our second time staying at Dan’s place, which was just as pleasant as the first. The home is quaint and located in a quiet, scenic neighborhood. It’s a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and especially perfect if you want to spend your time relaxing by the poolside.

Me and my husband had amazing days staying at this property. It is a lovely place, super cozy, peaceful and well-maintained. Roger and Judy were extremely nice and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Comfortable and Clean Condo, in a Beautiful Community. Yes, the view off the back patio is spectacular! Having the golf cart was a bonus, for going back and forth to pool and clubhouse for dinner! A fun stay!

We had the most incredible stay for my laid-back Bachelorette weekend! The home was exactly as described - a peaceful mountain getaway with stunning views from every window. It felt secluded, yet was just minutes from downtown Julian. The house was spacious and cozy, with super comfy beds and an amazing hot tub that we all loved. We saw tons of wildlife (including a bold raccoon who stole my mom’s flip flops!) and felt completely relaxed the whole time. David and Lisa were outstanding hosts. They left snacks and water, stocked the bathrooms with thoughtful extras like toothbrushes and toothpaste, and were so communicative before, during, and after our stay. The video directions made getting there easy, and they truly made us feel at home. My group is already talking about coming back. I can’t recommend this place (or these hosts!) highly enough. Thank you, David and Lisa, for helping make such a special weekend even more memorable!

What a find! Reese's place was so well organized, spic and span clean and a great location. You are entering a new home with every luxury comfort at your fingertips. A perfectly decorated home, that is well stocked and ready for you to enjoy. Being pet friendly, the gym and the Tesla charger were an added benefit. If you are looking for the best stay in Julian, you have found the right spot. As a high maintenance, very picky individual, I would gladly give this place 10 stars. Reese thank you so much for providing a wonderful home. I'll be back!

Beautifully appointed home. So charming. More gadgets in the kitchen than in mine! I could see doing a family holiday here. Great location for a winter trip to the desert

Shambala consists of a beautiful, comfortable house and breathtaking grounds. Many lovely places , inside and out, to sit and talk or read or just gaze at the panoramic view. A dazzling pool. Excellent birdwatching. A truly well-equipped kitchen. A fireplace with ample wood. You can't help but relax and unwind. Truly, a heavenly spot. Jill couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful into her dream home. Unfortunately, we hadn't understood the bedroom-to-bathroom situation when we booked. Only the master bedroom has its own bath. For bedroom#2, the bathroom is downstairs. With bedroom #3, the "attic" bedroom, it's two flights of stairs, one of them outside and quite steep, to a bathroom. For three older couples, this was not ideal. We still had a marvelous time.. .

Beautiful stay for me and my big family for a quick vacation, there was so much to do we ended up not making some of our original plans to stay at the Airbnb! About 45 minutes from San Diego.

Great home to stay at. Very peaceful and some nice restaurants that are pretty close. The pool was great and having the full kitchen was awesome.

Gemma’s place was really magical and peaceful. We came here to celebrate my aunt’s 84th birthday and had a wonderful time. We loved the fresh eggs and the local recommendations she gave us. The outdoors area is really beautiful and serene. And her love for animals shines through in everything! Gemma was super responsive and easy to communicate. Very helpful with questions we had. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again in the future. Many thanks!

This house was in a beautiful location with great sunsets from the front deck. The house had all the accouterments that were needed with a well appointed kitchen. Driveway is steep as mentioned in the description but worth it.

Home on Ram's Hill with a gorgeous view of the golf course and the Santa Rosa mountains beyond, as well as Indian Head.

Booked Jenny's place for an entire month. Throughout the process, Jenny kept in good communication with us informing us of things relevant to our stay. We appreciated the well equipped kitchen to prepare our own meals. The back patio has a wonderful view of the golf course and makes for a lovely setting to watch the sunrise. The pool table provided hours of entertainment along with the activities available within the community, including the pool and hot tub. Everyone who came enjoyed the accommodations and the stunning beauty of the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Would definitely stay again!

Ben was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. I loved the place. It felt like home. There were interesting old antiques both inside and outside. Some might find it annoying, but there is the sound of peacocks and other birds calling all the time. The views were amazing. It felt very safe, so much so we never even locked the doors. We will go back someday just for fun.

Loved our Stay at the Red Lady! The home itself is lovely, with plenty of rooms/beds and a spacious yard (though it is not fully fenced if you bring curious / flight risk dogs). The home is older, including its appliances, but very well maintained with new countertops and some other upgrades. Ample parking and amenities across the street were convenient. Our host, Jenny, was phenomenal. She made sure we were well informed and prepared for our arrival. She also resolved some minor issues that really elevate our stay. The service at this property was a real difference-maker. We would definitely stay here again!

Jayasree’s place was lovely. The bed were so comfortable with the best pillows ever. Every detail has been thought of. It is absolutely peaceful, we all slept so good. Kitchen is stocked incredibly well with very nice items. Plenty of towels, extra blankets and pillows. The patio is stunning and a great place to relax at the end of the day. Best stay and will definitely be back again! In fact, we talked about making this a yearly trip because we loved the home so much. Thank you.
