Rustic, character filled, architect designed cabin with a master loft and two small bedrooms constructed largely from recycled building materials, located in a rural-residential area on 5 acres of forest close enough to the ocean you can hear it in the distance. There are neighbours but it's relatively private. Just to be absolutely clear, the Camp House is not 'on' the beach but it's close. It takes about four minutes to get to Congo Beach by car. We are 'pet friendly'. Max guests - six people.

Great for a beach holiday, golf, fishing, swimming, walking, cycling, and / or relaxing. An inspiring house for writers and painters needing a place to create. Not suitable for parties, large groups or school leavers events.

Beautiful, comfy and cosy stay. A great host who clearly takes pride in her house and cares about guest experience. Highly recommend. For those coming from Sydney I’d definitely recommend 3 nights instead of 2. We stayed 2 nights and in hindsight we should have skipped kids sport to do 3 nights given the long trip from Sydney with holiday traffic.

Marcus’ place was so much better than we expected! The size was perfect for a couple! Larger than a standard hotel room - despite previous reviews saying it was small! It’s definitely larger than the pics show and such great value. The location is lovely and feels like you’re in the middle of nature at night time (when we arrived), then you wake up to a beautiful view in the morning through the trees down to the water. Marcus has all the facilities you need for an easy and comfortable stay. Highly recommend for anyone passing through like us or for a lovely weekend away in Tomakin - which by the way has a stunning swimming beach (Tomakin cove) for a morning dip! Cheers Marcus 🙏🏻

This is a fantastic little place in a beautiful location. It is quite small ( not that it matters) but has both a table outside and a fire pit space which i used and both were perfect. Jordan is really responsive and helped me with a couple of recommendations. The setting backs on to a nature reserve with views of the beach and whales! It’s quiet and tranquil perfect for a few days to clear your head or get out to the mountain bike park.

Louise is a very friendly host. Great communication and lots of information. The location with a lake behind the garden and ocean seen from the huge terrace - fantastic! I had a great weather and the best time. This part of the South Coast is very picturesque , with many kilometres of beautiful walks and breath taking views. Thank you Louise!
