Lovely comfortable, well equipped home. John and Dorothy were really friendly and welcoming hosts. nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were delicious.

Great place, good value for money, friendly and helpful staff, excellent location at the seafront. They even provided plant based milk for us, just let them know beforehand and it will be available. I will definitely come back :)

This is a brilliant location for all major attractions. You cannot fault the cleanliness that Freddie provides and he is very helpful and accommodating. He made the effort to ensure we were all on the same floor (our party was 8 adults and 7 kids) which we appreciated. It ain’t The Ritz, but it doesn’t set out to be

As soon as you walk in to this guest house you know it is run with love and real enthusiasms for the whole place. It is very homely, clean place, run by lovely owner. My room was very cozy and clean. Comfy bed and as a bonus little fridge in the room! I was visited in very hot weather and it was very welcome addition in the room. I think all accommodations should have little fridges in they room. Really handy. The guest house offer huge selection of fresh, home made cakes (the coconut and raspberry crumble is AMAZING!) also the home made jams, you can purchase and reception are lovely. Defo get at least one jar. Breakfast was lovely and exactly as I ask. Lovely, fresh, proper coffee set me off for the day in Lakes. Guest house is only few minutes drive from Hodbarrow Lighthouse. Do not miss it. Very lovely! I will be happy to visit anytime again. x

Lovely little bed and breakfast. Lots of little extras. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottles of water, face wipes, tissues and some nice little toiletries. Blackout blinds were really good too. Room really clean and decor was nice and fresh. Super friendly hosts and the cooked breakfast was a perfect start to the day. 2 minute walk to the beach but in a nice quiet area. Tram stop close enough if you fancy going into town. All in all perfect for what I needed

There were some difficulties which were in debt of AirBnB, but he was very courteous, so we had a very nice weekend!

our second stay with Wendy and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else, very close to where we like to be , and Wendy is an amazing host! Room is lovely and clean, a little home from home after a day walking non stop ! will be back 🥰

well received, I could park behind the hotel behind a fence, in the morning a very good breakfast for an extra amount and when I asked on my departure where best to park the rest of the day, she said that she only got one guest that day so I could leave the car. Very welcoming!

Wendy greeted us on arrival, showed us where to park. We paid extra for a cooked full English breakfast for the 2 mornings. Orange juice, tea coffee, cereals and toast were all available. Room was really clean. The whole hotel was clean and modern. The hotel was really close to a Wetherspoons. And in a quiet spot. Definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you Wendy.

We stayed in the Forge which is a lovely stone annexe to the main house, luxuriously appointed and very comfortable. We were visiting our daughter at Edge Hill uni and this was the perfect base. Janet was also very helpful in helping us get various things sorted out for our daughter, going way beyond to assist. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of tasty, wholesome options. We will stay here again, and look forward to our next visit.

We had a really lovely stay. Steve greeted us and looked after us. He couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was really comfortable and spotless. There is plenty of parking. Breakfast was delicious too.
