Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Big Sur

Excellent place to stay. It was nice to walk up to the top of the hill to look at the beautiful views of the rolling Hills and other Vineyards. We had our dogs with us, and they also loved the small yard and being able to explore.

I absolutely loved the place! So cozy and beautiful surroundings. I’d definitely recommend to others, too.

Really beautiful land and cabin. A very special place. We walked for a few hours everyday around the land with our pup and spent afternoons swimming in the lake (20 min drive). The cabin is super well equipped for cooking, even for a birthday cake! We saw a bunch of wildlife, which was wonderful. Kept our pup on the leash when exploring since he'd probably get himself into trouble. Would absolutely recommend!

Had a beautiful stay with my buddy and our two pups! We especially enjoyed how close it was to the mountains and the beach, and that there was a lovely hiking trail right out the front door. Big, open, comfortable space. Thank you for having us!!

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin in the Redwoods. What a beautiful location, of course the pictures do not do it justice. Literally nestled in the center of towering redwoods. The kids loved the swingset, art room, game room and of course exploring the yard for banana slugs. The cabin was much bigger than we expected, we definitely plan on returning in the future. Sean's cottage is an absolute delight, we moved in as though it was our own home. Worth reading previous reviews mentioning building works next door. As we were prepared for this (they started 8am promptly Mon-Fri), also ants (which didn't show up) and the racoon in the bins (which did show up) none of this was an issue, and was reflected in the reduced rental. Sean was an excellent host, replied speedily to any queries, including calling a plumber for a minor problem. The cottage is the most homely of places, there's everything you could need, the kitchen is generously equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The pretty patio is full of flowers and birds. Since it was April, we were not outside in the evenings, but it seems noise is an issue with neighbours. There are polite but firm notices requesting no outside noise after 9pm which could be difficult on hot summer evenings. This was one of our favourite Airbnbs, the location is fabulous, so much to do, we were busy all the time

Alyssa’s and Meghan’s place is clearly a home, with all the thoughtful touches that many AirBNBs lack. Their house manual is an excellent companion for your many adventures in the area, though you may have a hard time getting yourself to leave the cabin and the “prettyish wilderness” outside it. Would stay again. Would befriend Meghan and Alyssa.

The perfect Airbnb to stay in Cambria! The views are amazing and the place was great for a family of 4 but if needed you can fit more people. Mike was super responsive and we will definitely be booking here the next time we’re in Cambria!

Our family stayed here while attending the wedding of a local friend and had a wonderful visit. Many of our events were far from town and this location was perfect for us as we planned to cook our breakfasts and lunches here. The kitchen has everything you could need and if you forget a few things the store is about a 15 minute drive. The house is very comfortable with room for everyone to spread out. Beds are very comfortable and there are lots of games to keep everyone busy during down time. The Jacuzzi is an added benefit as well as the nice yard and patio. Perfect for hanging out with your doggo and family. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend the Ranchette!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jackie's beach house. The house was walking distance to all our favorite places to go. Honestly, we loved hanging out in the backyard too. The BBQ was perfect and ready to go. I wouldn't change a thing, it was perfect and we look forward to coming back again.

The property with its yard, pool and views is really beautiful. Whitney was very communicative and responsive through our stay.

Really hard to describe how wonderful the whole back yard is. Sunset here were amazing. All kinds of wildlife. The smell of the California hills in springtime always refreshes. Dogs loved it (and couldn't quite believe it). We swung on the swing, sat in the gazebo, enjoyed basking in the balcony views.

Beautiful location, peaceful, relaxing, and easy to drive to other local activities. Had everything we needed.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Exactly what we were looking for- a private secluded airbnb with a view and private pool/deck. Close to many of the East-side wineries. Will stay here again when we visit Paso!

It’s a good budget stay in Carmel/Monterey area when you are booking last minute. It’s in a quiet and safe area.

The house was beautiful but at the same time super comfortable and we loved the pool table! Had a great time!

The place felt lived in. Everything was clean and well stocked. Very accommodating and responsive hosts, especially grateful of thinking of things for our daughter to do after she got cold feet at riding a pony. There was enough to do for two adults, a toddler and a dog across two days between the pools, animals, bbq, bonfire and short hikes. The fresh eggs tasted amazing and we were always happy to run into and chat with Joe when he came by to take care of the animals.

Serene is the perfect word to describe this property. It was refreshing and quiet. We would love to come back
