Lisa and Andy were great hosts. The house was comfortable and walking distance to the beach. Everything was as listed and hosts were responsive. Lots of great areas to hike nearby and awesome restaurants like “the Hideout”. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful place, and a nice quiet neighborhood right next to the beach, and the E- bikes are hella fun, would come back.

Jane’s place was a peaceful quaint spot for our weekend getaway. There’s a beautiful sunroof above the bed which gave great natural light, and the whole place had everything we needed and more, especially the kitchen, despite it size – even though we didn’t cook, in the case of a stay in night, we knew Jane’s kitchen was well equipped, same with the bathroom. Jane was very communicative throughout the whole weekend, with clear instructions on checking in and checking out. She was also very flexible with the check-in time, which we really appreciated. Overall, Jane’s space was a great spot to get away for the weekend and get out of town. Thanks again, Jane!

Quiet, private room and I appreciated Angi’s communication and responsiveness. Not the roomiest but fine for a quick one night stay! Would’ve loved if the courtyard area was fenced off as we stayed with our dog, but a cute outdoor space nonetheless. I also appreciated the carport parking spot! Location is easy access to all the sights.

This cozy nest was easy to find with well descriptive directions provided from the hosts. Beautiful blooming May flowers lined the sidewalk guiding me to the space. I was welcomed to a clean loft-light studio, colored in buff yellow. With tasteful furniture and minimal artsy decor I really appreciated the space being clutter free. Linen and soft clean cottons adorned the bed for very comfortable resting (I am particular about bed sheets-and these were dreamy). The hosts had thoughtfully and generously left several breakfast treats in the kitchen! Erik & Marina’s place was perfect for my needs. Generally all the places I needed to visit were within a short 8-10 min drive. Next time I am in town I will definitely seek out this space to rent again. Thank you for a delightful stay. This place has a quiet kind of magic. Nestled deep in the canyon, it felt like we had stumbled onto a little secret. Peaceful, beautifully lived-in, and full of soul. Every corner of the cottage felt intentional and warm, like staying in the home of a friend with impeccable taste. We left feeling rested and recharged. It was the perfect impromptu city escape.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been carefully considered—not just for comfort, but for an experience beyond luxury. El Nido is more than a place to rest; it is a sanctuary that welcomes weary travelers with warmth, thoughtfulness, and an embrace of nature’s beauty. The touches throughout the space elevated our stay in ways both subtle and profound—plush bedding that felt like a cloud after long days exploring, lighting that set the perfect mood and amenities that anticipated every need before we even knew we had them. It was effortless to settle in, knowing this wasn’t just a place to sleep, but a place to truly restore.

We had a wonderful stay at Steve and Wendy’s place! The home was absolutely beautiful—tastefully decorated and very cozy. We really appreciated the dedicated parking spot, and the location was perfect—just a short walk or drive to all the places we wanted to explore in Carmel. Steve and Wendy were amazing hosts—super flexible with check-in and check-out times, and they even left us some treats, which was such a sweet surprise! Steve also gave us excellent recommendations for nearby breakfast and dinner spots. We’d love to stay here again on our next trip to the area!

Everything exceeded requirements. I could not have been better treated from a hotel. The room is completely private from the house. The bathroom and fixtures appear newly renovated. Plus a small refrigerator/freezer and beautifully set up tea, coffee and snack display. The satin bed cover added elegance. I never saw my hosts, nor needed to. but they contacted me daily to ask if I needed anything or tell me about local places to visit. I could not have been more pleased.

The guest house was really nice. The host thought of all the little details. It was super clean and cozy, and you can tell a lot of care went into setting it up.

Stephanie's home was very well designed and equipped, and very clean. The location was steps to great restaurants, wine bars, and cafes, and easily walkable to downtown. Highly recommended.

Eli’s place was great! The space was clean, comfortable and well designed. The outdoor patio was lovely, especially in the evenings. A super comfortable bed made our stay very restful.

The house was beautiful! The refrigerator broke down the first day, but the host brought us an ice chest full of ice and replaced the refrigerator by the next day. The house was close to the beach and very close to towns like Capitola and Santa Cruz.

I always stay at Airbnb's when I'm traveling... this one exceeded all of my expectations! Mike's place is paradise. The views are phenomenal and the little coastal town of Pacifica is welcoming and comfortable. They recommended lovely hikes and places to eat. (Devil's slide hike was spectacular and make sure you check out Soul Grind Cafe!) I can't wait to visit again next year!!!

My stay was comfortable and easy! It’s a tiny space but just enough for one or two people, there’s a kitchen and a cute outdoor space- overall a great place to stay not too far from downtown San Jose!

Ideal stay in an idyllic setting. Diana and Peter’s suite was beautiful and pleasing inside and out. It had all that we needed to feel at home. The bed was large and comfortable and the rooms were all clean and well maintained. It was close to everything but felt serenely sheltered from the busyness of the world. We really enjoyed chatting with Peter in the garden and he gave us a great cafe recommendation for brunch. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks, Diana and Peter!

Lovely & private location on a hill overlooking the beautiful ocean view, scenic garden & comfortable bed. Hosts were good communicators & very nice. Highly recommended!

Himani was super sweet! She made sure she was available when we arrived to give us the keys then gave us a run down of the place. My husband and I stayed with our friend and her fiancé so it was perfect as there were 2 private bedrooms, each with a private entrance outside. Each couple had our own half restroom and shared a shower, so if you don’t mind that, this place is perfect! Super close to Capitola and seascape resort where we attended a wedding.

We really enjoyed our stay at Svetlana and Anatoliy's place. If you’re traveling with a kid, it’s a very good option as it has all the things needed, is spacious, and is nicely located. We especially loved the location, well-equipped kitchen, nice bed, and the views. The Airbnb had a lot of charming details specially prepared for our stay, such as freshly cut flowers, baby shampoo, toys, and an artisan soup. All these little things made our stay special. And we enjoyed meeting our hosts in person! We’ll most definitely come back when the opportunity presents!

Hard to find a better priced place with this level of modernity and space. As others have mentioned it's a windy drive from highway 17, about 35 minutes from Santa Cruz, 20 minutes from Los Gatos (really cool town), and 30 minutes from San Jose. Of course, the semi-remote location is part of the appeal - redwood trees all around the yard, visible from inside the house, and all around beautiful steep terrain. The attached home is great - super comfortable couch in the living room, great bed in the bedroom, kitchenette and spacious bathroom.

Thao's place was great -- we were looking for a last minute Airbnb as we came into Aan Jose early and Thao was more than accomodating and very welcoming. The house is easy to find and there is a parking space on the driveway - only 10 minutes from downtown San Jose. Very quiet, even with having a neighbor, and a very safe neighborhood. We will definitely check out Thao's place again the next time we stay in San Jose!

Loved our stay in the mountains! It was clean, comfy, and had a nice view. The host was friendly and quick to respond. Perfect for a quiet getaway and close to Santa Cruz. Would book again!
