Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place on countryside. I’m really touched with the way Angela welcomed us. We met her in person and she left us with freshly home baked delicious chocolate cupcakes, crumpets, fresh bread with milk, butter and jam along with fruits. Angela is lovely, helpful and friendly. She gave us clear instructions. Place is super clean and garden is amazing! It has everything what you need for stay and we felt safe like home. There’s lots of things to see nearby. During our stay we visit Cheddar George, Brean Down, Wells, Glastonbury Tor and Dunster Castle. Thanks to Angela for providing us such a comfortable lovely place to stay.

Just back from a magical honeymoon stay at The Hoot—absolutely fabulous….. even better than the photos. The energy is incredible: soul-soothing, serene, and full of love. Every detail has been thought of, with quirky decor and spotlessly clean. The bed was super comfy, and soaking in the outdoor tub during a rainstorm was amazing. Jan and Dunc are kind, thoughtful hosts who give you complete space to fully unwind. Can’t imagine anyone regretting a stay here and we will definitely return ✨🌿🛁

Really enjoyed our stay at the little hut! It was super cute, so many beautiful little details, very friendly hosts, in a calm area not too far from the beach by car. It is simply a very unique experience! Absolutely loved the little garden paradise, perfect for cozy calm evenings. We would definitely recommend the little hut and would come back here if we were ever in the area again. :)

Katrina and Dave have a lovely place up on the hill at Bleadon. Great views towards the sea and fantastic for wildlife. The cottage is very well specified and high quality and I cant think of anything missing. Bifolds open up to maximise the view. We actually stayed in a lot more than we planned and enjoyed a relaxing week

Had a lovely 5 night stay at this beautiful cottage whilst we were having work done on our house. The hosts were always quick to respond to an issue we had and helped us fully. The house is beautiful, wonderfully furnished and decorated and perfectly located for a holiday in the West Country. Only 5 minutes from the motorway so easy access for you to explore all of Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. Highly recommended

We had a great experience staying at Vintage Vibes, from the efficient and helpful communication, the location, the comfortable homeliness of the property, the cleanliness, the extra touches of a welcome message and welcome package, and not forgetting how welcoming Jenny had been with our dog- a dog bed, blanket, water and food bowls, dog toy and treats! Jenny was able to recommend places to eat which are dog-friendly and would be able to cater for all our food allergies and preferences. Would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Jenny! Hope to be back next year.
