Cottage vacation rentals in Bellagio

We stayed at the farm for a family Christmas. Homes and spaces have largely exceeded all guests' expectations. All rooms have a bathroom, and the kitchen is exceptional, equipped with everything. The table had been prepared with care and style, and there was ample space for the kids to play. The common spaces are even equipped with a fireplace and outside there is a garden with some games. The patio, sunny in the morning, has white chairs. Giovanna was welcoming and kind in meeting all our questions or requests and the place is really special. Highly recommended.

Worth every single penny. Looking for a stay that is close enough to the lake so you can explore as much as you want, to then relax in a quiet & peaceful sanctuary of your own, after your hours of exploring to re-energise? Then this is the place for you! The views to the lake and hills are breathtaking, we found ourselves gazing across the mountain & lake regularly from our bedroom balcony. It is soley setup to help you relax as much as possible. The space has been created perfectly. The daily grind of our busy work lives started to disappear on day 1. This usually takes a while to dissipate. Saying Luca & Marina are attentive hosts is a huge understatement! They were on the end of a wh4tsapp message from welcoming us to their home before the trip, to asking if we got home okay. Nothing was too much trouble and answered us straight away. Never too imposing either, a great balance. Marina is also an amazing cook, we had our best food here! (especially the ravioli) Lake Como gem !

We loved this little spot. It's near a campsite and you are right on the lake and have direct assess to the water. This little cottage in front of a lakeside path and you can walk to many excellent restaurants, as well as two grocery stores. You're on the lake, not on the street, so it was very quite. We were there at the end of September, so the weather was still nice, but most the tourists were gone. Rita was very welcoming. We had everything we needed. We needed two twin beds, and that's what they had. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it has its own pool which we didn't use, but would have loved too. We can't wait to go back!

Amazing villa right on the lake - the view is breathtaking, and we had a wonderful stay. You can have a swim in the lake at any hour, and it’s 200m from the center of three village of Lierna - so really convenient! The villa is ideal for 6 people but can welcome up to 8. The design inside is quite … unusual but charming and very ‘rococo’ Andrea has been a fantastic host and was always extremely reactive, nice and helpful. I would love to come back next year !

Very nice place, clean, well furnished. Host was great. Free parking is 15 minutes walk from the place.

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

Sonia's Airbnb is breathtaking. The view of Lake Como is even more beautiful than the photos in the listing. Sonia is a wonderful host - she provides recommendations, answered all of my questions and always made sure that we had everything we needed. I wished we had explored the lake with her on her sailboat so if you get the opportunity I would book it! The only thing I would advise future renters is that the road to Sonia's Airbnb in Brunate is VERY, VERY narrow and winds around and around. It is very easy to get lost and go down the wrong street. If you're renting car, try to get the smallest car possible - it will help you to maneuver the narrows roads. There is a funicular stop close to the house so you could walk there and take it to Como or to the top of Brunate. It is much easier to get off at the top of Brunate and walk downhill to the house. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Beautiful place! Right inside a horse farm. The apartment is located on the second floor above the farm office. Two huge bedrooms and two very large bathrooms. New and clean washing machine. We traveled with our children and they were thrilled with the place. The owners of the property were very friendly and highly available by phone (whatapp) Great place!

If you want to disconnect from your routine and escape alone in nature, this place is perfect for you! It is surrounded by a beautiful forest with a view on the mountains. I would advise you to consider this mountain hut more as a shelter as you might spend most of your time outside (the interior is quite dark and not that clean). Stefano was really kind and responsive if we had any question! (And by the way, there is a super new compost toilet)

A very nice week spent with the family in the heights and freshness (welcome!) of Lake Como and the beautiful city of Varenna. The place is located in a natural setting. We were surprised to discover a hot tub! The exteriors are very nice and well equipped ( garden furniture, sun loungers) . The interior is very as described. A good location to explore Lake Como by day. we also spent a day in Milan taking the train to Varenna. Patrizia was very responsive to any inquiries.

A great stay in a very charming apartment with a great host. The location is wonderful, a steep but short walk down to the centre of Bellano, with decent bars and restaurants in walking distance. Percival was very accommodating, responded rapidly and was able to share tips for the local area. A truly beautiful spot and a rare treat to have a private garden with such a stunning view

Everything was to your complete satisfaction. The view from the garden and from the balcony is magnificent. The kitchen is very well equipped. The house is nice and spacious for 4 adults and a huge dog. The bed was very comfortable. We did not find the house ( according to the address) right away...I was already surprised on Google Maps when I entered via albonico 2. This address is a few hundred meters away...but ultimately everything found 👍 we found the peace after a sightseeing day just wonderful. We can 100% recommend the house!

Dear Deborah, thank you for the great time in this beautiful cottage. I was able to enjoy the short break to the fullest. The view from the terrace is outstanding! 😊 I felt very comfortable and above all welcome from the beginning. This accommodation is absolutely recommended! The contact with the landlords was very friendly and warm from the beginning. No question remained unanswered. I got great tips for hikes and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the house start great hiking trails, among other things, to two waterfalls! Thank you for the great time! 🤗

We had a wonderful stay here! The bedrooms were very clean, each room had AC which is a luxury a lot of times and the bathrooms were spotless. Almost felt like a lux hotel but nice to have 3/4 rooms connect as it made us feel at home. Sergio was an amazing host, providing us with breakfast and cappuccinos daily. Everything was delicious we wish we could’ve have stayed longer! So we will definitely look at coming back!

We very much enjoyed our stay and the boat ride was amazing. Thank you for reserving that for us. I’d recommend the 2 hour boat tour with tour of the famous gardens for the Villa del Babianello. If we were to do it again we would bring more food to grill at the nice charcoal bbq provided as restaurants are a jaunt down the hill and we would often just want to stay in. Lovely host and lovely place. Thank you!

I had a quiet, beautiful time in this pretty house. In the kitchen, there is almost everything you need (only the scissors are dull ;-). The views are also very nice and the Onsernone Valley is really great for hiking. The paths are a bit challenging but beautiful. The village is pretty and the restaurant has plenty of homemade food.

We had a magical few days at this wonderful house. Outstanding and quick communication from Debora and so, so easy to make ourselves at home. We could not have picked a better location on the Lake for getting around from and....my goodness.....the views from the property are breathtaking! Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable and we would love to return one day. Thank you so much for having us! x

Quiet and breathtaking views. a little far from the center, so from restaurants and supermarkets, but this also means quiet and with a spectacular view.

We had a wonderful stay at Julian’s place. The Rustico is very stylish and yet original, located in a peaceful and green surrounding. Julian was always very responsive and provided us with some nice tips for restaurants and places to visit. Thanks a lot! Definitely a recommendation

Daru’s place is even better than the pictures, incredible views, beautiful bedrooms and fully equipped with all the amenities you may need.

Claudia was so helpful throughout our whole holiday! The place looked bigger than appeared in the pictures and was so private. We had a couple of troubles with ants however we were given clear instructions on how to get rid of them. The house was a short walk from the centre of Como where there are many amazing restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend staying here and we had an amazing time!

It’s a wonderful place on the mountain with a magnificent view over the lake. The host is friendly and responsive, although it was a bit difficult to arrange a new check-in time when we were delayed due to car trouble. The house itself is wonderful, with a good shower, bedroom with a great view from the window and really comfortable bed, nice kitchen with more than enough utensils. There is nice terrace outside, where you can sit in total privacy, although the chairs could use an upgrade. But all in all we had a wonderful stay!

Fausto's cottage is wonderful for vacationing in Osteno. It is located in a beautiful garden with terrace. In the house, everything is as described in the listing. However, you have to do without TV and Wi-Fi. However, the existing cell phone reception (not always guaranteed in the mountains) makes it possible to plan tours and excursions. From the house you can reach the small town center within a minute. There are two bars and a small mini-market. The beach is a minute's walk away. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to vacation among locals, we highly recommend Osteno and Faustos Cottage. We'll definitely be back at some point.
