This vintage forest cabin is perched above our pristine mountain stream, set amidst a highly diverse indigenous botanical forest wetland.The cabin is entirely private with a large deck and extensive views of both mountain peaks. Hand built by owner over a period of two years, with hardwood floors throughout, hand waxed with beeswax polish from our own hives. NOTE: Please enquire about summer (over December and January) availability & rates. Due to mid-Dec to mid-Jan being peak season, we are unable to accommodate stays for shorter than 7 days at a time. Nature's Valley lies at the bottom of the Groot River Pass, and is nestled between the Salt River, the foothills of the Tsitsikamma Mountains, the Indian Ocean and the Groot River lagoon. Arguably the best place in the world to stay if you happen to be in the Plettenberg Bay / Tsitsikamma area. A romantic hide-away in the forest canopy. Lots of light, with big colours and small details, the cabin has everything 2 people might need to escape this crazy world for a while. Look forward to a Queen size tent-like bed with drop away window, mosaic and glass shower, a fire place inside, a braai area outside. A very private space, beautifully hand crafted with a creative twist.

Bedrooms 4 and 5 and bathroom 3 are in the cottage a few meters from the main house.

Lovely light & spacious cottage in Natures Valley

This gorgeous cottage is a perfect spot for travellers to rest their weary feet, or a couple wanting to appreciate the natural surroundings of Natures Valley for few nights. It is attached to our current family home. It has its own patio over-looking a lovely garden, which attracts many birds. The unspoiled beach is 50m from the house. Hikes, basic shop and restaurant all accessible on foot.
