Vacation rentals with a patio in Barrow-in-Furness

We had a really great stay with our young baby. The apartment was really spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for walking to Bowness. We would love to stay again.

Lorraine’s place was the perfect place for a couples getaway to Bowness. The place was spotless and provided everything we needed for a cosy and convenient stay. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and the bathroom felt spa like which was a lovely treat after a day out exploring the lakes. It was also minutes away from lovely pubs and bars which we enjoyed throughout our trip. We would 100% stay here again! Thanks Lorraine!

This is our second visit to Raymond's. It is a fab, cosy little cottage in an beautiful area. If you like walking, birdwatching, nature, scenery - you cannot go wrong. If we ever want a weekend away from it (not in our caravan) we would definitely come here again.

We had a lovely few days and the apartment was lovely and thank you for the welcome pack as well. Deffo come back.Could do a mirror in the bedroom and the mattress was al little uncomfortable.

Fantastic stay, great location in the heart of Ambleside. The apartment was super clean and felt light and airy. Tv in the living room and bedroom was a great addition after a day of walking and wanting to chill in bed which was very comfy. The hosts gave lots of recommendations through their very useful guide book and were on top form with their communication.

Fantastic stay. Beautifully put together and great location. Friendly host. Great for groups coming to enjoy the Lake District. Not difficult to find as some of the reviews suggest!

We only stayed at Lynne’s for one night on a road trip, but it was a wonderful spot to stop and recharge. The space is lovely and Lynne made us feel very welcome!

Its a great place to stay on the edge of Heysham. Spotlessly clean with not a speck of dust to see or find ! The fridge had small juice cartons with molk and cream portions ready for the provided tea and coffee with biscuits too. Lovely outlook- you can see the sea from the window ! Just a short walk down the quiet toad and youre onto the beach - 4 miles to Morecambe one way and the ruin of St Patricks church the other way, continuing into the harbour. We didn’t get that far as only stayed one night. But the Glebe garden next to St Peters church is free and well worth a visit. We loved our one night stay as we journeyed onto the I.O.M ferry. The late check out is perfect to coincide with the ferry departure. We took our own food, but theres a Tesco Express and Co-op food close by. Excellent place. Highly recommended

Very comfortable stay at Naomi’s.

Travelling from Australia, this was a great safe spot to keep our motorcycles out of eyes view on the way to the Isle Of Man TT. House was beautiful, spotlessly clean. Appreciated the fresh milk, and bread for a quick breakfast in the morning. Was surprised that we could get an Uber and had a great meal at the Fleece Inn and only cost £6 each way. Would be a great place to stay for more nights

We have stayed here twice now and it has been perfect both times, when we encountered an issue with booking we messaged and got a helpful answer first thing in the morning which was amazing as we booked same day. I would recommend this house for any one needing a place on a quick turnaround and pet friendly. Great location for access to the city, very walkable. Thank you.

We have had a lovely stay at the boathouse which was just amazing! The boat house its self is beautiful, clean and comfortable with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! It is very well equipt, plenty of towels, blankets and even robes. We loved the hot tub with views over the lake. The location of the boathouse was just perfect for us and the views were stunning! We took our own paddle boards and was so happy to be able to launch straight from the jetty to explore the lake. My daughter also loved feeding the ducks from the jetty. We have had a busy few days on local bike trails, hikes, paddle boarding, boating and having some lovely meals out in beautiful Bowness, but always looked forward to returning to the boathouse! We will definitely be returning! Thank you

This is an absolutely wonderful little house, in beautiful condition. Clean, comfortable and homely, it even has plentiful toys, games and books which our 4yo was delighted by. It's within an easy walk of Morecambe prom, Morecambe town centre, Happy Mount Park, and a fish and chip shop. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return one day soon. We had a fantastic two nights stay at this place and the host Alison was easy to contact and happy to help with instructions for check in and even had the place ready a little earlier for us to check in as this was made possible on the day of arrival. Overall a fantastic stay and the location was perfect for all the local bars and restaurants in the area being only a short five minute walk from Bowness beach waterfront.

We had a very restful and enjoyable stay at 32 Oversands Drive. Excellent communications with the owners throughout. Such a spacious, well-equipped and beautiful home. Felt relaxed the moment we stepped inside. The well-stocked garden, full of late summer flowers, provided a perfect spot for sitting. Great views across Morecambe Bay to the hills on the other side; you can see the weather coming and going across the great sweep of sky. Grange over Sands such a friendly place. Lovely walks along the promenade overlooking the saltmarsh and estuary, beautiful old station, plenty of independent shops. Nearby Cartmel well worth a visit. We had booked Predator Experience for our son's 21st birthday, and had a great time there, getting to know the wolves! It's also not too long a drive to the Lakes: we climbed Harter Fell and Loughrigg, visiting Coniston and Ullswater as well. A perfect holiday, made really special by having such a comfortable, spacious and welcoming place to stay. Thank you.

Kim was friendly and helpful. Her communication was phenomenal and the house was amazing. It had everything we needed and is in a great location.

We went for a short break and it was lovely! The house was perfect for chilling out after a long day. Kitchen had a lot of things we needed and plenty of things to do even in the home! Perfect location, both towns either side of us with lots of options to eat and all within walking distance too. We were so glad we were able to stay here and hoping to be back soon! Just had a lovely long weekend staying at Willow View. It was a great base to explore from and so cosy to come back to at the end of the day to relax, so peaceful and in lovely surroundings. Apartment was exactly as described and was well equipped having everything that we needed. The bottle of fizz and dog treats were much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and I’m sure we will book to come back again.

The property was a home from home. It was absolutely beautiful with an amazing garden and view. The property had everything we needed. The hosts communication was clear and proactive leaving no uncertainty about what to expect. The surrounding area is beautiful and the property itself very peaceful. Would definately stay again.

A lovely modern apartment - it was clean and tidy with essentials (e.g hand soap, dishcloths, towels etc) as described. Beautiful view outside the living room/bedroom, perfect for sitting outside even if its raining since the table/chairs are sheltered. Fast wifi which was great. Communication with the host was great. The closest cafe is lovely too however if travelling without a car other restaurants are quite a walk or bus ride away (10-15 min drive). Lots of long walks nearby - we walked to ambleside via the hills and it was beautiful. One thing to note is the site is quite hilly but it's to be expected in the lakes. Would recommend 👍

We found the perfect place to relax and live. Darren provided the most amazing accommodation with meticulous attention to detail. The treats he provided were very well received and it made life so easy. We will definitely return and until then want to say a huge thank you. It is like the Tardis,when you open the front door and realise how extensive the apartment is because from the front you assume it will be just a normal sized terraced house. Prepare to be amazed!

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. Very well equipped and great views of Ambleside from the living room and the Balcony. Bed was very comfortable. It was just a 5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants, but still away from the noise. Definitely recommended!

Blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, comfortable & unique this place is. Absolutely loved our stay- visited for Cartmel races and close by taxi to the centre of Cartmel. Comfy for 6 adults, loved the peaceful pretty grounds for a morning coffee and the fire in the living room for a relaxing evening. Couldn’t have wished for more! We will be back!!!!!
